I have had an issue with my game that doesent allow me to use mods, I have tried almost everything to resolve this, I reinstalled the game, validated the files, and replaced the saves and other data, but I still cant get mods

I am 100% sure that I installed the mods from the workshop and that they are added to the game, but the game doesent detect them and run them

ive had this issue for half a year

i couldnt add any additional mods and when i tried reinstalling my previously installed mods, it didnt work

as well as that, I cant regain my data and stats from before, as the backup i made is corrupted

I have a problem where it expects a quotation mark on an impossible column, even if I add it it keeps saying it wants the quotation mark

And when I try to play the states all have their names removed

To anyone who is having trouble joining or hosting a game,
If you are having trouble joining or hosting a game in HOI4, it may help to change your download region settings. In particular, changing your download region to London, UK has solved similar issues for many users.

Important: Both the host and all players must change their download region to London, UK in order for the connection issues to be resolved.

To change your download region:

Open Steam and go to:
Steam > Settings > Downloads

In the Download Region drop-down menu, select London, UK.

Save your changes and restart Steam.

So i've been trying to play with mods for weeks now and i feel like ive tried everything, even different mods but all do this and I cant find anybody that can help. Ill load the game with say R56 on only it will get the loading bar all the way to the right and then crash. Everytime at the same loading progress regardless of mods. I have uninstalled and reinstalled deleted all folders, heck even formatted the drive it was on. Im unsure where to go now

Im trying to make a mod with a custom map, ive perfectly followed this tutorial step by step and everything seemed correct until i started the game with my mod, but it keeps crashing, and he mentions something that whenevr you crash and if you have this error cord you need to fix the province map, but eventhough my hoi4 is on -debug on properties on steam, it doesnt give me that super long pop up thing when it crashes, it just tells me to report how it crashed

then make sure that your Antivirus isn't blocking the paradox launcher
