free india is an example of the ghost trade bug in the first image, india does not exist at all on the map, clicking india in the cores section just brings you to the global diplomacy screen as india no longer exists

yet... the ai is somehow trading and getting resources from them

so how do you beat the ghost trade bug?

malaysia and indonsia are both still on the map, but with indonesia i took all but one state which had no resources in it, malaysia i puppeted and gave them a piece of land in a seperate war then let them break free, kicked them from my faction and took the two original core states with resources

the result is a global monopoly on rubber which cripples the ais ability to make planes, mechanized and trucks

Hey, I used to run the game on Windows and it was fine, now I have switched over to Linux (Ubuntu) and the game, specifically with total overhauls but the base game does it too, stutters and lags aggressively during loading to the main menu. Yes. DLCs can be manually enabled or disabled, but specific saves must use the same DLC.

how do i fix this as it happens even when I don't have mods and enabled and I have reinstalled and uninstalled multiple times to fix it

remove those mods from the playset as they aren't present on your disk (click on the "x" that will appear once you hover on those)
If you recently moved the game files you may need to mod the mod/workshop folder with it

I had the same problem but when I asked for help some dumbass told me to delete the paradox interactive folder (DO NOT DO IT) and now I can't even play the game 🙂

My friend is on this screens and the game tell him "we do not have read/write access to the directory containing the game data" and then, it's write "An unexpected error occurred while initializing the database. Please check if you can access the *folder name file"

I also need help. My game isn't working because some dumbass told me to delete the Paradox interactive file. Even though I uninstalled and Installed the game and the launcher two times the game doesn't work and I still can't find the Paradox Interactive file anywhere on my computer. When I try to open the launcher it just keeps loading without any result (image below) and when I choose the skip launcher option nothing happens (video below) please someone help me I'm addicted to this game and I don't how much more I can hold out.
