hello guys! I am quite new here so I don't know if I am asking to the correct place but I am having some trouble with my latest save file. every time i try to load it, it loads without a problem but it does not allow me to go further than 25 march. as soon as it becomes 23.00, it crashes instantly. i tried changing something and saving it again, letting it idle etc. same outcome every time. i really spent some time on this save so i don't want to start all over

any advice?

i tried spamming pause and now it lets me play after 25 march, but I still cannot play without spamming, it crashes after 5 seconds I unpause and I receive 33.7 MB crash every single time...

Hey all, question for you. Playing a vanilla MP game co-op with a friend (me as USA, him as Brazil). All DLC, no mods. We recently won as Allies vs the Axis and ended up with numerous exiled units. As we brought things back home, we discovered that any time he clicks on an airfield, missile silo, strategic air map mode, etc he crashes. I also crash when loading it in SP and playing as Brazil. Interestingly enough, the Air Overview mode does not crash. Looking at the log files, we're getting this:

This would lead me to believe that it is trying to add an Avenger (that I had lend-leased him) to an existing airwing on a carrier perhaps? However to our knowledge, he has all of the Avengers already deployed on carriers (which are back docked in Brazil) and the game is not showing any Avengers in reserve/stockpile (and he is not producing them, though he is producing the Paraques). Additionally the only airwing he has with Paraques is at 10/10. One of the multiple Avenger airwings is at 9/10, but based on the phrasing it seems to be the other way around.

Any help/suggestions would be super appreciated <@&916727924093239336>. I've tried deleting everything in stockpile, deleting his production lines of native aircraft, and a couple other things to no avail. I'd try to delete all of the airwings, but don't know of a way to do it without being able to do it with the access I have. We tested deleting his carriers as well as his airbases/etc to no effect. Saw a good handful of similar issues with other equipment types, but was having a hard time finding actionable resolutions.

Hello, I am trying to play multiplayer in Hoi4, but when I try to play with my friend, I get an error saying, "Host has a different game version." I am on the game version, v1.14.3.6de2 (d916) (S) and my friend's is, v1.14.3.6de2 (410a) (S), I don't know how to fix this, I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling, also deleting all my files and data for the game. hello! I have encountered a pretty weird problem - every time I try to annex any country (doesn't matter which one I'm playing for), the game just crashes to desktop and asks me to send crash report. I already tried checking the integrity of the files in Steam, reinstalling the game, tweaking system and game settings (although it shouldn't matter since my system is way above the minimal requirements). Happens every time with any country
I play on Linux so that might be the problem, however I have a friend with similar system and his game works just fine

First, check for file integrity, then for system requirements. Also, try freeing some space from the hard drive your windows are installed. By the way, what's your laptop's specs?

Oke I fixed it. But It could have been a very specific problem for me. The launcher apparently needs a "My Documents" folder to be designated in windows. When you start the launcher through steam it want's a to make a folder in there, for save games and profiles and stuff. I had removed my hard disc earlier and replaced it for a new SSD. But did not set that new disc as the designated "My documents" folder.

The Dlc's that you can't see are integrated in the game now and won't show up in the launcher. But they are still in the game.

The issue is that your HOI4 is saved in onedrive

which it can't access

all you have to do is dissable onedrive for the files HOI4 uses and you should be able to play

Either dissable onedrive fully or go to steam, right click HOI4, then properties, then installed files, browse and then right click the HOI4 folder and dissable onedrive for it
