Alright. Iirc there was a new game setting that collapses focus trees when they become unavailable. And thats whats causing the bug. I don't think you can change it for the current game but if you decide to restart that should fix it
I think they fixed it tho. They fixed it for the soviet tree at least. Not sure about the british one

Unsubscribe from all mods then make sure that Documents\Paradox Interactive\HOI IV\mods and SteamApps\workshop\content\394360 are empty. If they are not, delete everything in them
Subscribe again your desired mod and try if it works
in case I'm wrong and the folder under steamapps containing hoi4 mods is not 394360, just search for the right one and do the rest of the procedure with it

close the launcher, close steam and delete the entire Hearts of Iron 4 folder under Paradox Interactive that you can find in Documents. Then reopen steam, and launch the game to force it to recreate the folder
(you can save your Save folder that is inside Hearts of Iron 4 folder somewhere else on your pc before deleting so you will not lose all your savegames

3- Manually delete the two Hearts of Iron IV folders, you can find one under documents and the other under steamapp. Those are the usual paths to find the folders

just focus on building tanks and AA and keep everythijng up to date, i personally dont like making air as Russia so just make bunch of AA and add it as support company, prioritize tanks and td-s, make 9/1 infantry with support AA, support artillery, logistics, singal company, finish purge ASAP and just rush industry make civs to late 1938 and then just make bunch of mils, i always go like this and finish war in just late 1943 or mid 1944 it depends

I think its because China already got annexed that you can't get the achievement anymore. You'll need to restart and win a war against china to get the achievement
