When I launch the most recent beta they have a newer one that I do not have for I do not know what reason and they have the same mods as me and the same version in the launcher but in games it does not put them the same

And when I try to join them it puts me that they are not the same version of the game

one of you have a modified version of the game. The version is not the problem but some of you previously installed a mod that changed the game files, so now you have a checksum that do not match

first thing you must find who has the wrong checksum, so both revert to the current version

check who has checksum b721 on the latest patch. The one who doesn't will have to reinstall the game following those steps:
Follow those steps exactly:
1- Unsubscribe any mod you have
2- Uninstall the game
3- Manually delete the two Hearts of Iron IV folders, you can find one under documents and the other under steamapp. Those are the usual paths to find the folders
under documents
C:\Users\user\OneDrive\Documenti\Paradox Interactive\Hearts of Iron IV
and under steam
C:\Games\Steam\steamapps\common\Hearts of Iron IV
4- Open Windows Settings and search on the Applications if the Paradox launcher is still in the list, if it is uninstall it.
5- Restart your pc
6- Install the game again
7- Try if it works

once you have done all this, you can revert to the version 1.12.12 and add the same mods so that the checksum remains the same for both of you

btw the checksum is that little code between ()

Anyone ever had the problem where they load a game and there's no generals or field marshals in the army tab? When I load my game all my divisions (400+) are all under the unassigned divisions notification and no way to reassign them manually.

Good afternoon! I just purchased and downloaded HoI4 Starter Edition through Steam, but it crashes about 1/5th into initializing a new game (I've tried it with many starter countries, game modes, and difficulties). I have followed all of the possible fixes I could find online:

• I have no mods installed.
• I made sure all of my drivers (including my Nvidia driver) were up to date.
• ensured my system requirements were well above the recommended specs (Ryzen 9 5900HX, 16 GB Ram, Nvidia RTX 3060).
• lowered the in game settings to the minimums.
• ran Steam as an administrator.
• ran a file integrity check through Steam.
• uninstalled and reinstalled it.
• cold start and ensured no other apps were running.
• run virus and malware scans (nothing found).
• used CC cleaner to clean my drive and my registry.

...but nothing works. Can anyone offer any other suggestions for things I might try?

how can I fix my hoi4 multiplayer? when ever there is a resync I am always last to load and it takes like 5-10mins for me to download the save file in a resync. my internet speed is fast as well so its not that and every other game I play there is no problem. this happens for all hosts I play with. anyone know how to fix? Depends on how many you succesfully produce. They will get shot down by AA and the UK will probably deploy fighters, so get some fighters to protect the naval bombers.

Follow those steps exactly:
1- Unsubscribe any mod you have
2- Uninstall the game
3- Manually delete the two Hearts of Iron IV folders, you can find one under documents and the other under steamapp. Those are the usual paths to find the folders
under documents
C:\Users\user\OneDrive\Documenti\Paradox Interactive\Hearts of Iron IV
and under steam
C:\Games\Steam\steamapps\common\Hearts of Iron IV
4- Open Windows Settings and search on the Applications if the Paradox launcher is still in the list, if it is uninstall it.
5- Restart your pc
6- Install the game again
7- Try if it works
