I’m not able to open the launcher through Steam. I’ll press ‘Play Hearts of Iron IV’ it’ll start opening and then says updating cloud and goes back to when I first opened Steam. I can run HoI directly still by skipping the launcher but I can’t use mods or anything because I can’t access the launcher

i found a bug with the new peace deal system when i was playing great war redux when the UK and france go to war with darfur the allways win but do not have enough war score to take the land because there was no battles because darfur didnt have a army but they have the focus to take darfur and the war goal so every month they go back at war and then white peace then war then peace

I don't have access to the screen of the game at all anymore. Previously I had trouble with an update: after updating back to BBA after I had first reverted back to barbarossa, I had an update which finished and reloaded multiple times. It still seems to be reloading and instead of ever actually finishing I think it just stops and starts the game. I can not play multiplayer anymore through that, and as said previously neither can I use the workshop and the other features of the game's page.

5. Put all the moved files and folders back in.
6. Launch the game again.

I just bought vanilla HOI4. Sometimes, it gets past the main loading screen, and even when it does, it crashes when the tutorial is being created. Otherwise, it crashes on the main loading screen. I've tried DX11 and 9, as well as OpenGL. Nothing seems to be working, and I have 8GB of ram on an i5 processor.

my hoi just recently started taking forever to load - will take over half hour to load, loading screens and quotes changing but the bar making no progress

All of the countries on the map have lost their color, everyflag is missing, and many portrats are missing

it is pure vanilla, apart for the DLC's if you count those

I already tried to fix it by verifing the file integrety, but it did nothing

I did search Paradox launcher but then instead of showing me it, it's search rather appeared on a website like google it just showed me on google rather than on file explorer Or do you mean launcher from Paradox Interactive?

ok so first things first. I am playing on older versions. (Don't mind the different building pictures since this is a mod called "empire") Regardless of which mod or which older version i play except 1.11 and 1.12 i always get those "rail_way_desc & supply_hub_node" on the construction tab. And it is annoying as hell. Don't mind the mod i'm using since i get this weird glitch on every older version. I can even build them and once they are finished building game crashes. And don't tell me to play at 1.12 or 1.11 because it lags as hell.

Also forgot to say that, the building icons are somehow wrongly placed. Regardless of what mod i use or without using any mods (Vanilla) this keeps happening to me. I tried reinstalling the game same happens.

then try this exactly: 1- Unsubscribe any mod you have
2- Uninstall the game
3- Manually delete the two Hearts of Iron IV folders, you can find one under documents and the other under steamapp. Those are the usual paths to find the folders
under documents
C:\Users\user\OneDrive\Documenti\Paradox Interactive\Hearts of Iron IV
and under steam
C:\Games\Steam\steamapps\common\Hearts of Iron IV
and also the Workshop Folder under
C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\workshop\content\394360
4- Open Windows Settings and search on the Applications if the Paradox launcher is still in the list, if it is uninstall it.
5- Restart your pc
6- Install the game again
7- Try if it works

No, i already had it on Steam, but my Launcher didn't work anymore so i asked here how i could fix it i only can rn skip launcher and instantly go to game but when i try to use Launcher it keeps on loading and not working and when i stop the loading proccess it just keeps on showing me "stopping" and not then "click to play" i always have to restart my PC then to have access to my Hoi4 game you did not understand my Problem scroll up more then you realize it

that will bring you to the directory it installed HOI4 in.

my hoi keeps crashing, i tried many ways to fix it, like clearing cache, deletin all hoI4 and paradox files and reinstalling, disabling fullscreen optimazition, Oppening steam as a administrator, verifying game integrity. But still crashes, it attempts to reaload i think? and then it just crashes. Here is a picture of a glitch

that's because the game is not installed at all

you need to click the Install button to install the game

If the directories are already deleted, then that's great and you can continue.
