2. Move the mod, saves games, Screenshots folders, as well as career profile files to somewhere else on the drive.

Does anyone know why my game isn't loading the Blood Alone dlc properly? When i launch the game it has the No Step Back icon even though the version is the 1.12, when i get in the game Italy has there new focus tree and there's a 2nd naval tech tree tab but the plane tab is the same before the dlc came out and switzerland and ethiopia don't have a focus tree, does anyone know how i can fix that? If it helps i have pre-bought the DLC.

I have the game though gamepass ultimate on pc and it worked. then I purchased the expansion pass and axis vehicle dlc. the newly obtained dlcs refused to populate in the paradox launcher that open on hitting play but, the old dlc (cadet edition) still worked, after reinstalling the new dlc and it still not working, I uninstalled the whole game, re-installed the game. and still only the anniversary is recognized

you probably have installed previously some mod that modified the game files.
follow those steps:
1- Unsubscribe any mod you have
2- Uninstall the game
3- Manually delete the two Hearts of Iron IV folders, you can find one under documents and the other under steamapp. Those are the usual paths to find the folders
under documents
C:\Users\user\OneDrive\Documenti\Paradox Interactive\Hearts of Iron IV
and under steam
C:\Games\Steam\steamapps\common\Hearts of Iron IV
4- Open Windows Settings and search on the Applications if the Paradox launcher is still in the list, if it is uninstall it.
5- Restart your pc
6- Install the game again
7- Try if it works

ever since the most resent update, I keep on getting this error, I've done everything that it says to do, even uninstall and reinstall and it keeps giving me this error

If it crashes and brings up a map error:

1. Open file explorer.
2. Go to Documents/Paradox Interactive/Hearts of Iron IV.
3. Delete any folders if called history, map, strategic regions.
4. Launch the game again.

I'm kinda desperate, I can't open details tab on many countries. Whenever I click on that tab game crashes. I tried verifying game files
