i downloaded the 1.11.5 version of Cold War Iron Curtain but my game says "This mod is made for another version of the game (1.11.5)"

So I created a mod with a new map and created a country and some states. But when I add the core in the history file of the state it still has resistance and its occupied. Even if I try to add a core with the in game console it still does not work. Does someone know why this happens?

Hello! I am researching how to mod techs and I have found something very strange.
For some reason if I copy a tech and do not link it with another tech, it does not show up.
I need to connect it with already existing tech for it to show up on the tech tree.
Anyone know how to make a tech not be connected with another tech and still show up?

It’s outdated af, so you’re going to have to do a lot of manual work to get it running.

Hello guys, i just started modding, i created a map using map gen v2.2 and when exported i tried to test if my map works but game crashed, i wasn't surprised but when i saw the crash log i saw that i think all of my provs has no continent, i mean 10k errors from "prov 1 has no continent" to "prov 10081 has no continent", what can i do with this? and also i have errors "Province 1 has no pixels in provinces.bmp" to "Province 46 has no pixels in provinces.bmp". Can anybody help, please?

Do y’all know how I can remove all the basegame countries, focus trees, events, etc without creating errors? I’m trying to empty the folders so I can start fresh, but if I do the game attempts to reference the base game files creating literal thousands of errors
You use replace_path
A lot of vanilla things will reference countries, focuses, and events.
So an overhaul is a long path
Of removing, and adding back what is necessary.
These are in both .mod folders
You probably will still get errors.
It's a mountain you'll probably be chipping at for awhile.

Yeah. If you do changes to the mod, best to make them while the game is not running.
If the game is running in Debug mode you can change like values and stats, but it is still best to mod while the game is not running.

What file determines a state's name?
So in the state's history file the 1-Corsica.txt for example will have a name="STATE_1"
The value of STATE_1 is determined by the localisation and probably exists in state_names_l_english.yml

You need to recruit the character in a history file
And you need to make the GFX file for the leader portrait you want
I think I have the gfx if by it you mean placing the dds image on the gfx file of the mod

Are you trying to path the leader to the image though?
Or are you creating a GFX_ file kinda thing for the leader and using it there
And in the history file you just need to do recruit_character = character_name I am pretty sure
I added new dds files in the gfx folder, then like specified the image rout in a .gfx file in the interface folder and then in the GER folder put the name of the image
And then you need to recruit that character to the germans
I set Zububu as the name, should it be GER_Zububu or does it not matter
