- but if other players also have my mod and I, for example, make some errors and my mod corrupts some vanilla files, can the other players just uninstall the mod?

if you create your mod, no one is going to be able to download it if you dont upload that mod in any page

if the files dosnt change in the other player mod it dont make any errors. (even so, i think that a mod cant corrupt hoi4 vanilla files, because a mod dont change vanilla files, if the mod corrupts the game then you just uninstall it in the "mod" folder or you disable it in the launcher)

USA is facing heavy economic decline, and massive corruption. South America is well South America and does nothing in the game. Japan fights china early as the Chines warlords declare war on japan when they invade Manchuria. Europe is completely balkanized and has shitty industry. The British Empire completey collapses. The Russian civil war contues to 1932, with the whites winning.

in the completion reward put the target countries tag before the event i think its formated like:
completion reward = { TAG = eventxyz } -> event gives them 2 options one accepts other gives the player a war goal
or you could do
completion reward = { event xyz }
to give one event to yourself
then have option A and B
make it

target country recieves event
option a/b accept/decline
selecting a: (player country tag) = give_war_goal = TAG (i could be wrong with this command i dont remember exactly)

So what i tried is i just copied over the blitzkrieg and gathering storm txt files, then just deleted every single line of code from them. Now the game skips the selection menu and directly goes to the custom starting date that i added, however i still want to have the selection menu. How can i do that?
And is there a better way to remove the dates?

You can't transfer MIO, but you can rework the allowed and available conditions on said MIO so other nations can get it under certain conditions

Hello, i started making a hoi4 mod that adds some random country to the game to learn modding and i have run into a weird error, for some reason ONLY my custom country(not any another country) cannot gain or losse any factories and always stays at 4 factories, i tried building them and they were builded in a state but they were not counted into total factories and were useless, same with factories added by focuses and off-map factories(i want to add that also factories do work for another coutries normally) and if someone knows the reason for this happening and knows how to fix it please dm me or respond to this post (also sorry for possible bad grammer, english is not my first language)

and i did found that factories do active then i switch economy laws

and its like i do focus that gives 6 factories, then i change economy law for explample early mob to civil economy and i now have that 6 factories
and also error logs show nothing
i mean there are few bugs but they are mostly by missing medium and small flag version and i don't think it has anything to do with factories not updating

it honestly makes me think they should add a cliff modifier to certain places to make naval invasions less op

question, editing the map terrain file atlas0.dds in photoshop. Something with the mipmaps is causing the edges of the textures to stick out. Any help with the nvidia plug in settings to avoid this?
I can load a working dds file, and then just resave it DXT5 with mipmaps and the lines show up. So for sure it's something with saving out of PS.
