You can do that in whatever mod you make, cause you define the gfx in the interface folder, and can make the mod pic from a folder that is not necessarily the same sort of folder as base game

There have been multiple, but they all died because hoi4 is just not built for pre-ww1 style gameplay
You're changing the file path, but if those files don't exist you're just messing up the American models without doing anything for SAI

What does the title mean
There must be a difference between adding an unit model to a country that already has one and one that doesn't right? I only got so far to replace the skin of an already existing infantry. I have the mesh and the textures only in a model unit. I've been trying to add the same thing to Iraq but can't get it to work. Can anyone help with it?

Me and my friend are trying to make a country in some germany states, and i realized that when i load into the game some german reich divisions will still spawn at the states which ive gived to another nation, can i possibly change their spawn position or delete them?

anybody know off hand if the text that shows up in focuses (like the description of the focus itself that you can read when you open a focus up) is cached? I edited one just to see if that's how you actually edit those focuses, but don't see the update in a game that I already had started.

The :0 is just a note for revision
It doesn't actually do anything
So neutrality having :1 is because the name has changed from Neutrality to non-aligned

@pale sparrow excuse me, but does the "id" in the focus tree matter? because the trees are assigned trough country factor, so what is this used for?
In the basegame its used in commands for more complex civil wars
Country factor doesn't always work if a country has two high factors, so in Road to 56, countries are force loaded the correct tree on game start, the factor then ensures it stays correct after civil wars
so, the game will break if I will change it?
I want to remake focus trees, events and so on for every major nation for example.
If you're not making the new tree separate, you should probably leave the name the same, just for convenience
also, what ID would I assign if I'm making a focus tree for a nation that doesn't have it?

To reduce the number of rifles and cause deficit you have to spawn units without full equipment
