- Delete everything in the Hearts of Iron IV folder.
- Put all the moved files and folders back in.
- Launch the game again.

You have to give your leader a specific ideology or it won't work.
fascism itself as an ideology can be placed whenever you're making the country file, however the leader itself has to have a subideology as you had mentioned if I understand correctly.

If you enable debug and run the game, the file will be auto generated in your user directory. Simply delete the one ending in .cache and rename the other one to just be definition.csv, and move into mod files (or copy then delete one in user directory)

Is there a way to add buildings to states without using the nudge tool? Because When i click in "Random in state" or "Validate in state" tool, the game crashes. And It's impossible to add like 45000 buildings just coding...

Itās when you are starting a game, there is a button to select a country at random like roulette to try something new. Probably because the mod developer didnāt switch the available random countries from vanilla to whatever their mod is

Of course it is as long as you don't unlock DLC content
but i think your problem is you don't have the provinces assigned to the state or the state is in your document hoi4 but not your mod
it also has no state category (rural, urban, metropolis, etc)
and no population designated
first thing's first, assign those provinces listed to your new state
honestly just watch IW's video since you can go back and forth throughout it if you make a mistake or something

you can use any of the base hoi4 game icons in your national focuses
You can also use assets from them to create icons of your own, though I would recommend not using pre-made assets because often assets are made specifically for the icon they are in
There are some guides on making focus icons, if you're going for the traditional vanilla style it can be tricky, I would join the Hoi4 Artist Server for help

guys i cant help but notice that there are some modifiers(dont know if im using it right) that i cannot see. for example you cannot send volunteers to anarchist spain and when you're playing as spain at the beginning of the game you cannot design division templates or train units and it is told you cannot do these things in a ideas tooltip but there is no modifier for such a thing under that idea in the files.

well first i need to tell you how mods basically work. basically, game loads the base game data first and then mods data

People, I am trying to check for state population in an if statement to add building slots, all within a for loop (I'm on my phone so I can't upload the file)
I am checking if the state population is higher than a set value*the iteration of the loop, but no matter what I do it either runs forever (the 1000 times limited by the defines) or it simply doesn't work
Could anyone explain why, or simply how to use loops?
I've used the simple ">", I've used check variable, I've tried using a flat value, but nothing works
My suspicion is that the problem is within the if statement and not the loop, because even a flat value doesn't work but the loop does (when it runs forever)

Something is almost certainly wrong (probably the syntax because I wrote it from memory), but that's how I did it

Haven't worked with decisions before - From what I'm reading on the wiki, complete_effect is for when the decision is selected, while remove_effect is on completion. You'd want to use remove_effect.
