U don't need the wiki to figure out the country naming if u see the file, u literally just need to know ur Tag and know the name u want ur country to have for all the parties
Or just name the country without any party specified and so all parties without the specified name will have Dat default name

U can change the cosmetic tag localisation to give ur country a custom name, but change color? I never seen it
Its used in colorise your country and things like formable reichskommisariats in the base game

If you give cosmetic tag UKR_reichskommissariat to some random country it will turn grey
Well, u could do a global search for the tag in game files and see every place we're it was mentioned and see if anything about colors pops

I created a mod and when I wanted to publish it on the Workshop, the export failed. Trying a second time, in the Paradox launcher, I am told that the file is not found. The answer I get is that the file was not found (k_EResultNotFound)

for some additional context, the mod i'm trying to change is snow's reichskommisariats. The mod itself is pretty good, but for some reason it changes the portraits of a few leaders, and some focus icons as well. all i wanna do is revert those back to the default

If you just want to remove the new leaders, remove the leaders picture and then go to /history/countries and there you go to the entries e.g LIT - Lithuania.txt and delete possible "recruit_character" entries BUT that will make the leaders names and portraits go generic, if you want to completely reset the leader you either do the work and do the recruit_character entries of the old leaders by yourself or you simply delete the .txt file. Außerdem, you'll have to go to common/characters and delete the desired entries which look like "ALB.txt". I think i won't recommend deleteing something like "ALB_ideas.txt" and such.

If you go tinto debug mode, that is Steam > Properties (of HOI IV) and the in the line on the bottom you simply type -debug
then, in the launcher, activate the mod and on it goes

First problem: how can the provinces in the first few lines invalid when there is the province map of 1.11 (working) and the old states map? And second problem: There are no sites defined for all the swiss and ethiopian states but these states are overwritten by the old ethiopia state and eastern and western switzerland?

The icons need to be in the same container as the background and the background needs to be big enough to fit the icons

I had an idea for my mod in which if a country has a claim on a state, if they occupy or own that state and have 55% compliance and under 15% resistance then they'd be able to core that state. I understand this is possible for specific countries but is there a way to make it a universal system so I don't have to implement it for every country or would I be better sticking to case-by-case?

Replace the airframe aviation technology for every country so they only have interwar small airframes, and have jet engines as the only researchable engine that lasts as long as a normal at-time research techonology like 150 days instead of the ahead of time research penalty so that when ww2 kicks off, every country will have bi-planes with jet engines instead of the bf109s/hurricanes/yaks we historically saw

Hey, I am the lead dev of a relatively big mod (MAA) and after the dlc my mod crahses whem ever I make certain orders (mainly fallback lines and garisons) when they touch certain state sin conditions I don't manage to understand yet.
Does anyone knows why this happens? The mod replaces a bunch of stuff so idk what could be causing it.

i found out what it was
it was a new file, so what was happening is that because the file had a different name but the same equipment, it was creating a duplicate, and because it had the same position, it looked like it wasnt being researched

Idk about the ruling party one but the faction input is already a custom one so the ability to change it wouldn't be that hard to add. If I had to guess, it's because no skilled modder has cared enough tbh
