Custom trigger tooltip shows the effects in that box as well when hovering over an effect, if you're making your own, you don't need to use the same file as vanilla. If you're looking for the vanilla one for some reason, just search in files using any proper text editor to find it

If anyone would be of help, I'd be greatful - since newest hotfix came out on Friday, I can't get my mod past January 15 in game, it always crashes except when I turn AI off, which may indicate something fishy going on in this regard (and that's the only thing I managed to determine). I only fixed the errors that appeared after Friday update, the last time I played - Wednesday afternoon - everything was all right. The logs are of no help, crash meta.yml of no help even with -crash_data_log.

As Ive found several conditions in the game files not listed in the condition documentation
- Added effects set_occupation_law and set_occupation_law_where_available
- Added support in air_wings OOB for specifying a carrier's name as the key instead of a state ID. The OOB file containing the carrier must be loaded before the file containing the carrier air-wing
- Added 3 new triggers for the new war support maluses, hooked in to propaganda decisions
- Added support to trigger occupation_law for checking a country's default occupation law or the occupation law set on a country

so im working on a mod that changes the vanilla flags, this is the flags i have came up with.
The 1st one is the Monarchist One. (Non-Aligned)
The 2nd one is the Communist one (Im thinking of putting some stars instead of the byzantine "B's"
the 3rd one is the Democratic one
and the 4th one is the Fascist one.
but i still don't know what i should do with the communist one so you're guys opinion would help a lot.

assuming this is a more nationalist-oriented type of orthodox communism, theyd likely stick with the theme of a total cultural revolution while envoking more pride of their idealist form of the nation than whatever was already in place. for that reason i don't see them keepingg suit with the flag. I made a simple little description and concept, feel free to add on, but consider that more radical left ideologies are going to be more anti-establishment and not so in favor of keeping an older flag or aesthetic overall

Well the thing with the localisation is probably just because the overwrites aren't working for some reason
So I think you would either have to overwrite the whole thing or make your own cosmetic tag

I would not be sure, but I think things like these are not generally case sensitive. You can try though

it might be as well cause im using notepad++ to convert the pngs to tga files.

Also a little bit of advice, don't have the land touch both sides of the map on the east and west, because otherwise you'll have weird issues with the map wrapping around with weird naval invasions being possible. Besides not having land touch the border, you could just have a strip of land/sea unowned on both sides that prevents this if you must keep it this way

ok, uhh, the fascist flag looks quite neat, in the monarchist flag you could try using a yellow laurel with some details as well as decreasing the size of the sun(is that a sun?)
and for the communist flag you could try finding a higher quality coat of arms and maybe removing the stars and stripes, or changing the color of the sprites

i mean that in the case of a 2:3 ratio, if the flag is 33 cm wide, it will be 22 cm tall

so, in the case of the 3:5 ratio, you can divide the horizontal size by 5, see how long each part is and then multiply that by 3, giving you the height
im gonna go play some valorant and then continue with the flag madness.
A flag is 82x52 large, 41x26 medium, and 10x7 small btw so remember small details will be lost when you put it in game

Well I have tried deleting all files in Strategic regions folder, but after that game still crash when I start game, even if i'm in debug mode, there must be something else that cause game crash
Finnaly done with all of the flags.
now i just have to turn them upside down and add localisation to them.
do i have to make a new localisation folder for macedonia to change their name?
this should have changed macedonians name to the ones shown below, why didn't it do that?

Now, as for WHY that worked
The game first loads every file in the base game, before loading the files in any activated mods
When the load finished, the game ended up prioritising its own names for Macedonia over yours for reasons I can only guess at
So keep an eye out for that in the future

for example when someone forms byzantium, the country becomes purple, how do i do the same for the Macedonian empire so they become Dark Purple (on neutrality) and Dark Blue (on fascism and democracy) and Dark Red (on communism)

Just find the colour you want, get the RGB numbers on the side, and replace the three numbers in the Macedonia section of cosmetic.txt with those three numbers

mods r like the lifeblood of this game, some are more unique than the base game. yet every time an update rolls over. most of these mods cease to work.
