and the main consistent thing is to not be at war at the time of your submissions, but there'll be another challenge next week so you can see it there moreso, currently the previous challenge requirements are still pinned until a new one is done

Though I don't work on the weekends, I'll step in to mention that no, you cannot use Azerbaijan in the current challenge, but the reason I allowed Iraqi Kurdistan was because its apart of one of the new focus trees from Graveyard of Empires, no disrespect meant or whatnot, but Azerbaijan is not apart of the countries listed as the started nations.

The intent behind saying this is one of the 'easy' challenges and that it can be done without DLC, is to mention that some countries that are used may not have a focus tree without a respective DLC, so while you can do it without a specific DLC, it might be harder or take quite a bit longer than those who have it. That is why I remove the time aspect of the challenge and just ask those participating to complete it

Face the Raj-ing Storm Challenge Rules

Requirements

-Must start the game in the 1936 scenario as the British RAJ (India) You may not change after the game begins. You are not locked into a specific path, however, in the Focus tree (though you cannot have the UK annex/puppet Japan instead of you)
-Game must be in Ironman and achievement compatible
-To achieve the challenge, you must capitulate and either completely Conquer + Annex or Puppet Japan.
-At the time of submission, you cannot be at war and must be at peace. Whether its a war for Japan or another, you cannot still be engaged in war.
-This challenge is TIMED, the fastest run will win and will need to be verified. If you submit, be prepared to be available at least 1 hour before the challenge ends to give me a step by step of how you achieved it.

Tanking the Stats Challenge Rules

Game Requirements
-Must start as either the USSR or Germany in the 1936 Scenario, once chosen you cannot swap to another nation (you can do formables however)
-Your game must be achievement compatible, graphical mods are allowed but nothing that changes any sort of gameplay.
-Game must be done on the latest patch.

Challenge Requirements
-You must create and use a tank Template Design that is intentionally bad, alongside a bad division using them.
-For the challenge to be achieved, you will have to capitulate and conquer the opposiing country from the 2 options: USSR or Germany
-This challenge is TIMED, the fastest run (not fastest submission) will win. If there are 2 similar/identical dates, the winner will be chosen by the time of day, and if somehow by some miracle those are the same, a coinflip.
_As with all challenge, no Paratroopers are allowed.

but in all fairness the RNG winning for the 'easy' challenges is so that there are no 'favourites' of any kind, in the past I'd use my colleagues as a way to decide winners but didn't think that was the most level of playing fields

@scenic yarrow for the roman empire as papal state you need to: quickly defeat ethiopia so they wont join allies justify on yugoslavia as soon as possible but not too soon cuz u need to wait for transport planes and paratroopers (which u need to paradrop france) then while ur at war with france start justifying on democratic nation for example belgium or netherlands and capitulate france (the nation ur justifying on should get guaranteed by UK) then you declare war on that nation and paradrop UK (or naval invade with french+italian fleet) encircle london and take everything else and start justifying on nations like turkey bulgaria portugal poland sweden norway hungary (you dont have to be limited by europe u can justify on south american nations too) then after u justify and declare on nations u just take london and get every nation in the peace deal

And then u just take out germany, usa, and lastly soviets

And at that point u can just do world conquest if you feel like it

But if you want to go papal dont do political focuses until you finish war with UK cuz annexation would give u points in balance of power and you dont want that

Well,how do you get to para troop France properly and when

Okay. Let’s start with troop templates.

First, hold the French line with infantry, I use 9/1 or 10/0.

Next, join the faction with Hitler the second Ethiopia capitulates.

On January 1st, 1936 (the second the game starts) move 10 factories on transport planes, the rest put one on trucks and trains, the rest on infantry equipment.

First thing to start researching are paratroopers, everything else is your preference.

Justify a war goal on Lebanon the SECOND Ethiopia dies, (make sure the war goal is ready before September 1937 otherwise France joins the allies).

If you don’t delete any divisions or lose any, you’ll be able to deploy at least 20 paratroopers.

Paratrooper templates, just have a single paratrooper and nothing else.

Put them all in the city closest to the Maginot Line on Germany’s territory.

All your fighters, throw onto the province that Paris is in, the tactical bombers put them onto the German territory to ensure air superiority.

Drop a paratrooper on every major city in the province with Paris, drop the extras around Paris to delay the French army in case they decided to put some planes into the air space (they normally won’t react in time).

They’ll literally just die, game takes a few days to process the death of a major country that fast.

Right, also don’t call in Germany, just drop paratroopers from their territory.

Expansion Deadline Challenge Rules

Expansion Deadline: As the USSR, Expand as much as you can within 2 years.

Requirements
-Starting in the 1936 Scenario as the USSR with Ironman enabled
-Must be achievement compatible, if you are in Ironman and achievements are not available, verify your files (Mentioning this here seeing as I got a couple dm's in the last few challenges)
-There are NO Ideology requirements, however sticking with Communism is probably your best bet
-You may have a singular Puppet, nothing more.
-It would be preferable that you are at peace at the time of submission, however I recognise with the time constraint that may not be possible, so for the sake of this challenge, both owned and occupied lands count, but if similar size in submissions count, owned lands will count for more.

The Challenge is TIMED, but it is not the fastest time, but rather the person with the most land in 2 years, by January 1st 1938. The winner will be chosen by whoever owns the most land, if they are of similar size, then number of provinces.

If the winner/top leaders all have done a World-Conquest, then the winner is determined by fastest time achieved in game

Unit Restrictions
-As with most 'Difficult' Challenges, Paratroopers are disallowed, but there are no Units required to be used otherwise.
