if you put max price 1-2ex, use a weighted sum with life/res/etc. on pieces that suck for you, sort by sum, then you will massively increase your defenses

They introduced a Boss Tablet and fixed the map boss spawn rate on the atlas, to compensate they nerfed the amount of 'waystones' bosses dropped. This affected the number of fragments dropped by boss citadel as well.

honestly, any efficient farm - I farm breach because my build is great at it, it still farms decent div/hr even without raw div drops, because breachstones are like 4:3 stones:div and tons of other currency/drops

trials of chaos are a great "low tier" farm as well

practically zero investment, lots of soul cores

you get breach splinters from breaches, simulacrum ones from delirium instilled maps and delirium mirrors

I feel you, ive been saving up with my exalted and chaos to get a alpha wolf cowl since they were 1 divine for a while, finally got a hold of a divine, and now they go up to 2 3 and 4 divine for one

The catalysts are tied to particular tags. If a modifier has a matching tag, it is affected.
