it's a great item but you can't just randomly apply any of them without knowing its effects, and it has different effects depending on where you put it on the passive tree

It's usually one of two things

Either you are trying to buy underpriced items or the item is like 1 ex or so and the sellers just don't want to bother for such a low amount because they are on a map right now for example.

yeah, honestly there's good arguments for both. I know people generally hate the way trade is right now but until you get to like the 5+ divine buys, theres not much real scamming. The only way to really stop the really horrible experience of underpricing something or having make sure the divines arent alchemies in the trade window is an auction house or an exchange like in poe1
