Generally lower bases have lower stats, combinations of mods could make them on par with poorer rolled higher bases

But a perfect base with all t1 mod will always be greater stats

What matters is the mod rolls

The DB uses data directly from the game files, which can include things that are unobtainable atm but are in the game. There are unique flasks on there I've never seen anyone mention yet lmao. Though yeah in that case it seems those are in apparently.

do enemies stack on failed maps? I died on the same node a few times and ran an unmodified waystone to test… when i spawn in the map it is extremely overfilled with enemies and i instantly die (i’m on Tier 1 btw) … or is this a bug?

I wouldn't recommend using good maps on them, but they are definitely worth doing. Once completed, they reveal a large area and gain a slot that you can use precursor tablets in to buff/modify the nearby maps.

They reveal in a set distance around themselves, they don't just push the fog. There is no cap that I have found for how many towers can modify a single map though, so if you find 20 towers in the same spot you can make some pretty crazy maps.

It should. You can check if a mod will scale by holding alt and looking for "Unscalable value"

They went back on that before early access launched. Instead, now maps can be attempted again, but all mods and mechanics are stripped from the map, making it rather lackluster to run. There are a couple of maps that remain 1-attempt only but it's very rare and becomes obvious which ones it is once you run into them.

That's all the points you get on floor 2. You must do a higher level trial to get more points. Look for one that says it has 3 trials and has glowing text about ascendancy points.
