I am new to maps, watched a video where a guy said the icons above some nodes unlock points and if you fail the node it reverts. Do they respawn elsewhere? Or are you limited to the ones there?

That node loses its modifiers (breach, boss, delirium, etc.), but the map device is "infinite". You can just keep moving through the maps and you will find more boss encounters

No. You will usually do the first in mid twenties, second in mid thirties, and 3rd and 4th will usually be done in the endgame (60+, sometimes even 80+)

After acts good gear is pricy.
If u in acts right now, as example good weapon for 20ex would be better then 4th socket. You also can search for your skill on trade with 4 socket corrupted, could cost 5-10ex, which is 6 or 3 times lowers then jewelery itself and splitting ~28ex for wepaon and also 4 socket would be much better too, especially if you have more then 28ex
Cuz 5th sockets jeweler cost like 70 ex i think and be free to spend 70 ex on socket and not on piece of gear too far from t1 maps.

Is there a walkthrough/guide to the endgame somewhere in the game or..? Did i miss it accidentally? Theres this map with nodes, atlas tree thingy, waystones.. no idea what any of them do or how they work (i did manage to put in a waystone on one node and complete that but thats al i understand) am i supposed to use more waystones than one as it has 4 slots? whats the purpose of the nodes? can i do the nodes again with different waystones (am i doing a mistake completing nodes with only 1 low tier waystone?) etc. so many questions 😄

I set up a build for breaking tons of armor on war bringer and set my ancestral totem to use armor breaker, but it just…doesn’t use it. I socket it in, and the totem does nothing. If I put rolling slam in, it works fine. Any advice?

You are doing everything right. That map you are talking about is called the Atlas and it pretty much lets you boost your waystones so that you get better drops when you go in them. You just gotta kinda read the nodes and choose which ones appeal to you most. (I highly suggest any that give you more waystones for map sustain.) The 4 spots are for different things, I don't know all of them, but usually you can add 3 or 4 of a certain item to make something happen like a boss appear or a modification to a waystone that might be in there as well.

currently having trouble honing in my build what I really want to do is a fire build on my witch I want a lot of projectiles, high crit and am doing ES and mana stacking but i also want to ignite enemies and have that scale. currently running firewall, ice wall and fireball. there is a few support gem that i really like on my fireball but i don't really know how they work like wildshards and unleashed, i would like them to proc more often but i don't think i can increase the odds of them procing

• I don't think there is currently any use for those other slots where you put the waystones. just put in a waystone.
• The nodes are the maps that you can run. Each map is different. Each node can have modifiers that add something to the map (bosses, Breach mechanic, Delirium mechanic, etc.). Waystones set the difficulty of the map and can be modified using orbs (transmutation,. augmentation, etc.)
• You cannot do the nodes again unless you die. In that case, you can retry the node using a new waystone, but any unique mechanics on the node go away (bosses, Breach, Delirium, etc.)

Well there can be modifiers that say "reduce elemental resistances by 25%" or something similar, so 90% would not mean you have capped res in all situations

I was doing the same thing and ulimatley changed to a Fireblast build. Ignite and damage modifiers to it are trash right now, I'm level 90 almost and fully specced into a crit fireball infernatlist that used Unleash to esentially blow up the screen with fireballs but the sustain as I got to later maps just sucked and no matter how I tried to scale it, I ended up adding more skills to my hotbar that just made it feel worse as I played. Fireblast seems to stay very strong even in T15 maps and you can further modify it by being in Demon form which just adds raw dmg and cast speed to the skill gem.

I don't think most people are going to run with high enough resistance to be capped in all situations. I am running T15 maps on one character and I have about 80-85%% res in fire/light/cold and that seems good for me

I think I am also level 70, I attempted it at around level 66 or so (level 66 barya) and failed. You can do the 2 trial one to "buff" yourself with relics to make it easier #2┃new-player-in-campaign-help message

I was still able to kill floor 2 bosses with blunt blade but I think I just got too negative after a couple back to back afflictions. I lost a lot of honor when standing in between the small fireball things and I was just a bit off so got hit thrice and then I just gave up and ended myself
