Question about maps, as I’m nearing endgame. I’m currently running an ice sorc (not COF obv) build focusing on map control and high damage. Basically wall off areas and use freezing shards, cold snap, double comet and double frost bomb to nuke entire areas. Works well on bosses with hypothermia too. Will this be viable once I get to maps?

Are there any tricks to getting high tier waystone drops? I've been using regal orbs to increase % of drop rates, using waystones on boss maps/other modded nodes, and put all my skill points in waystone drop rate, and higher tier chance. But nothing ever drops. Is there a trick to it or something?

if you want sustain in maps as well, you want to run t1s, slam them with a trans orb > aug > regal which will amp your map up, and take the %chance for maps to roll higher tier on the atlas tree

that will get you a good flow of maps

How exactly does Toxic Growth poisoning damage/dps work?

Am I just dealing 130% (plus 100% more for 260%) of attack damage as raw poison when hitting the target?

I'm running T16/17/18, instilled with emotions. Breach + Delirium is almost all my money. It shits out rares and they drop exalts. I get about 2ex worth in simulacrum splinters a map, and in maps that have breaches I get about 30 Breach Splinters (4ex), looking at about 6ex just from breach+deli and not including any rares naturally spawned in the map

even just red maps your main money maker is going to be a league mechanic. breach doesnt drop its splinters until t10, same with simulacrum splinters. if your build is good try buying some of the cheap emotions (20 emotions = 1ex) and putting delirium on every map just to get some splinters + free density

Iirc, once you hit higher tier, the hub resistance will update, I know that how it work for Hideout, idk if it's the same for the refuge

So if havent went in any T6 +, you need 20% overcap, and if you went in T6+ but not T11+, you need 10%

so for some reason the gate from the past to present ziggurat camp is non-functional for me. I've completed the campaign and had no problems back then. This didn't start until I went back to utzaal to xp farm. I thought maybe I needed to kill final boss again, but I did that and had no luck. Also tried killing my instance and that didn't work...in fact, after I abandoned it for 30 minutes, my portal to the final boss room was still alive so I'm not sure how to get rid of my instance

3rd ascendancy is level 60+ 3 floor coin or 70+ 10 trial ultimatum I think and 4th is the main boss of each trial I think not sure what level those start dropping. If you look at your coin or ultimatum it should tell you if you will or will not get more points.

If you put most of your damage support gems into toxic growth, and you start shooting a weaker poisonburst arrow that also poisons. Does it overwrite the toxic growth while you're sitting on max poisons inflicted? Or is it like a queue system that has more poisons waiting for stronger poisons ones to end?

I dont have Thiefs torment, or any 6 link. Lightning arrow is 5 link natural, and I have a bit of currency. What to go for next for damage ? 6 link LA? Save a bit more for thiefs torment? Wondering what biggest dps increases is for mapping right now. Bosses in maps seem easy enough even without thiefs.
