in poe2 converted damage does not recognize its origin, so if you convert 80% of your phys to fire for example, then 80% of your damage will scale with fire damage but not physical damage, and the remaining 20 will still be phys

strength is the strongest stat in a vacuum probably, it gives 2 max hp per point, so 5 points is 10 hp, intelligence gives mana, as a witch you are likely to need more intelligence later to equip your items/gems as those will often have int requirements

Now I cant seem to get into the map since the map device is broken, cant see any portals when I port to "The Ziggurat Refuge" in cruel act 3. The End Game tab says my map is in progress. In POE1, almost same here, each mod is rolled with a tier.
Some tiers are only available on high ilvl items.

So if you drop a staff in a lategame map (lv84+), it can be T1, T2, T3, T4, T5.
If you get lets say a T1 spell damage, it cal roll from 105 to 119. If you waste a divine orb you can roll between these values.

But you cant get a wand with 30% inc spell damage, divine it and reach 100%

The setup is:
spark + arcane tempo + ele focus + inspiration (mapping)
Orb of storms + overabundance (for maps)/persistence (for boss) + lightning exposure + conduction (shock generator)
arc + unleash + controlled desc + lightning pen (big bonk)
archmage + lightning mastery (if you get 10 more spirit then add clarity)

I just beat Cruel, got the whole cataclysm cutscene, popped into my hideout. I ran to the waypoint and before talking to anyone teleported back to last area, to collect some loot i had on ground. And... now i think im softlocked?

I dont have any hideouts unlocked to teleport to, i dont hjave any new waypoints (that i can see), the "portal" back to present ziggurat is gone, and i can only teleport to the "past" ziggurat. None of the npcs have anything to say to me.

I literally have no idea how the f to progress to the mapping stage now
