Well for one, you don't have any supports in the main skills you could do damage with. Most of them seem to be in Chaos Bolt, which is hardly the strongest Spell you could find (and is tied to the Wand, so you might well have it at a low level, or swap away when you find a better Wand).

The level of the gear itself doesn't matter, it's more so the stats on it. Also, Chaos Bolt is still not especially good, being a single target, relatively low damage skill compared to Bone Cage, which is a decent AoE in my experience, and Bonestorm, which can be quite effective in single target. Its main benefit is being free to cast, really.

I've used it for a build once, it wasn't great on handling packs on its own, but it can shred bosses under the right conditions. It also applies a debuff onto the boss that makes Attacks against it - such as from your Minions - deal extra damage, which can come in handy.

As for the wand, I'd recommend looking for something that either buffs your Spell damage - Increased Damage, +X to Spell Skill Level, etc - or one that has a useful implicit Spell, such as Power Siphon to gain Power Charges and empower Bonestorm, or summon Zombies without needing a corpse. Ideally both, though that can be hard to come by depending on RNG.

You don't use that bow for its damage. It's entirely about getting an amazing quiver with it. Most you can do is socket a couple runes. If you don't have an amazing quiver that is heavily boosting your damage there is no reason to use it just because it's unique.

And it inherits the elemental damage/status effects of skills you use to hit it. So you can use it to do great damage while also shocking or freezing.

In order to use Charged Staff, you need to generate Power Charges. With a Quarterstaff, this can be done using Killing Palm, Siphoning Strike, or the Combat Frenzy Spirit skill and the Resonance keystone passive.

Check the requirements to generate Power Charges with Combat Frenzy, and make sure that you have it toggled on in your Skills menu. You need to be Freezing, Electrocuting or Pinning enemies in order to generate charges.

What level should I be when fighting the wolf boss.

I'm level 15 and I just died like 4 times.

I'm a witch, using arsonist minions, drain essence and contagion as my main spells.

I'm okay for most of the fight but when the arena turns to mist I can just can't take the damage of his multiple wolves and him jumping at me over and over again.

I even have a unique helmet which gives me 148 energy shield 😭

Sure, that's what weapon swapping is for and even that may not be necessary depending on your build. If you're finding the synergies that's all that matters. I was mixing cold and fire spells but had gloves that converted all my fire damage to cold.

So you make herald of thunder do ice dmg so it can freeze, thus triggering heralf of ice.
Then we make herald of ice do lightning dmg which can shock. This shock dmg can trigger herald of thunder.

the biggest distinction probably will be how they deal damage
all projectile from split is considered same attack/spell so it can't hit the same target multiple time
forked projectile however, is it's own thing, so one attack/spell can hit the same target more than once

How hard are the ascendancy trials?

first sekhema is fairly easy if you just take it slow

first chaos can be kinda hard, i did it when i was overleveled quite a bit for it

the rest kinda depends on how well your build is doing by the time you get there

they are unique, they usually give you something you can't get on other items

in this case, its the 100% faster start of ES recharge

which can be nice, if your build has a lot of energy shield

Spend time read through the texts, for anything really. If it doesnt sounds useful to your setup specifically then its useless to you. Text convey very specific things in poe, there is no ambiguity of what they does. Hold alt and hover over underlined text if need further explanations of the specific mechanics.

Hey guys for witch essence drain what's the best level 1 support skill? Persistence means if lasts 40% longer, swift affliction does 35% more damage over time but shorter duration (so I think harder to spread with contagion, or minion pact which I don't really understand

Also I have one level v gem to use but none of the skills seem good except frost mage, currently using skeleton arsonists which are powerful so I'm wondering if the frost ones are better?
