if your spell has a 1 second cast time, every 2 seconds it will add a repeat that deals 50% less damage to your next cast, up to 2 times with no modifiers

hey I was rly hoping someone could help me. I've been fighting rath breaker and everytime I try to resurrect at checkpoint, I get the error "you do not have the required quest state". I have to reboot the entire game to fight him again. Does anyone know if there's a way to fix this? tysm

There's a lot of text on there, but basically you build up repeats (seals) of a spell over time and when you cast it, it also casts one extra time (at lowered damage) for each seal you've accrued

Assuming Lightning Arrow is an attack (I believe it is), attack speed or skill speed will both make you able to fire more often. It would not be affected by cast rate.

Earliest you can get your 5th and 6th point is from a level 60 trial, which would be around act 3 cruel, but it's a random drop so could get unlucky if you don't buy one. 7th and 8th you can't get as a drop until pretty far into the endgame, and requires killing one of two prety difficult bosses. Can pay for a carry if you want it sooner but not cheap

I would say that most people don't get their 3rd ascendancy (points 5/6) until after the campaign is complete, and they've moved on to endgame.

Yes it is an attack. Thanks. Will the attack speed of the bow I'm wearing also influence this? So basically lightning arrow is a magic projectile so to say and not a true spell. Therefore cast speed does not influence it?

Correct. Below the name of the skill (Lightning Arrow) and for every skill should be a skill type.

It might say Spell, Attack, Buff, etc.

But then in the blue at the bottom it says "cannot chain".. that sounds contradictive
Though in the projectile description chain is not in there, only in the beam description.
So i figure only the beam can chain.
So is there a way to either use the projectile or the beam or how does it work when a skill has projectile and beam?

It's not pure invincibility, some things still hit it (AoE and big "overhead slam" type attacks are two that I remember)

It sounds like you don't really have a strong damaging spell, unless you've invested a good bit into frost bolt.
During my frost playthrough I was primarily getting my damage from cold snap for that phase. You might be able to pull it off with frost bomb but you're going to need to kite and group them well enough to get the kills with that.

Now the only skill I have which is a spell is Spark
now when I remove that amulet my fire resistance and cold resistance goes down.

Ah, yeah. Some attacks might still be strong enough to kill in one hit but it doesn't hurt to build more res at that point. As far as I know they don't intend for most things to be a straight up "one hit kill" from bosses.

I phrased it the way I did to make the implications clearer. Zealot's Oath doesn't do anything because you don't have ES. Energy Shield Recharge doesn't do anything because you don't have ES. Nothing that affects ES will apply to the mana you now have

Im currently an infernalist witch user and Im on act 3, my arsonist is at level 9. I've found a lesser jeweller's orb for the first time. Now if I use this on my current level 9 arsonist to give it an extra supp gem slot, will I be able to upgrade that same gem to level 10 in the future AND keep that extra supp gem slot.
I don't wanna use that orb early and fuck up incase if it works only for that level or something like that 😦

Uniques aren't good just because they're unique. They provide something you cant get other places. If your build needs them or you can counter their downsides they can be powerful.

But most of the time good rares are better.
