Now on my second play through, I have two serious lore question:

1. What happened to the water goddess girl in Keth, Hilani, why was she left in a disemboweled state in an abandoned city, guarded by her son? Was this an event we were supposed to recognise from PoE1?

2. Atziri, the Vaal leader, seems to have been a major character in historical events but we never meet her. Is she a well known boss in PoE1? Or is she someone planned for future expansion?

I really wanna get into PoE2, but I always have trouble deciding on builds.

I played a bunch of 1, but as soon as I tried not following a build guide, I ended up getting "stuck" at level ~55 (because my build sucked).

I've heard respeccing is much easier in PoE2, how much easier are we talking?

Changing characters/ascendancies is hard.
Changing skills, build types, or reallocating passives is only as difficult as farming is (getting gold for passives, getting gems for skills/build types)

If you're having trouble deciding on builds, always start by looking at the skills imo.
Find one that looks cool, then worry about a build that goes with it.

How much gold are we talking, for a mid to late game character that may not be super OP, roughly how many hours of grinding are we talking here for the amount of gold you'd want?

I'm late game, not endgame, and just swapped a passive. Cost me 2.5k

Hopefully by then you have your build nailed down enough that it's not something you're doing frequently, because it does get more expensive.
Early on it's much cheaper though.

Not familiar with grenades so I can't say what they are, but I can tell you that it will show in the skill.

An attack will often say "x% of base" to scale off your weapon, or mention your attack damage in the description.
A spell will outright say the damage in the description at the bottom section instead, and scale with the gem level rather than your weapon damage.
(Since spell catalysts like wands don't actually have damage, just another spell 😅 )

How often are you checking vendors? Using transmute/augmentation runes? Gambling when running out of options?

The vendors also have whites/blues, that you can use your transmutes/augs on, to have another chance at rolling the gear that you want 🙂

Game always punishes you if you don't build defensively, and you get more mechanics if your damage is lower. Easy to get caught.

You can have the best build guide in the world but if you don't know how to find upgrades you're fucked

I'll definitely check that out, to be truthful, I'm a d4 Andy lol, the guides for that are all pretty darn straight forward and I probably became way too reliant, so coming to this game is a vastly bigger challenge. It's highly recommended to do some extra 1-2 trial sekhema trials to amass stronger relics and get 75% honor res before you attempt the 3-4 trial ones

Relics can only ever be blue or white. But getting capped honor res (75%) along with other stuff is immensely helpful

You get 100 from the campaign quests and yes, you can get more from gear. A lot from sceptres and they are minion oriented items overall.

Not directly. Like, you can't take a scepter and add more spirit to it. You can find scepters with more spirit (through more mods like increased spirit) or you can add mods to a scepter with orbs to hopefully roll one of those mods. Minions also cost less spirit per summon as you level the gems up.

   1.a add any sceptre as your second weapon
2. Open the details of the skill and enable the aura only in weapon 2
   2.a disable some other aura/remove minions in weapon 2 to make space
3. Test your blink

it should. Technically, honor damage isn't the same as life damage (usually much different scaling in the Trial where you take a lot more honor damage than life). I know Darkness is (was?) currently bugged to be a reduction to honor damage taken, but your life total should only matter for how much max honor you have

it's a vague description because GGG hasn't explained what exactly it's doing

i mean 50% less spirit is effectively double minions
but u lose out on the ~150 spirit of having a scepter

its REALLY good if you get spirit from elsewhere like, 50 from chest, 100 from helmet, another 50 from ammy

300*2 = 600 effective spirit before other reductions
vs having that extra 150 from scepter would be only 450 effective spirit before reductions

but u also have to keep in mind the stats the scepter n focus would give u, +4 to minion skills can be like ~40% more dmg from your minions not counting increases n decreases and the implicit aura

so like, tldr it can be rly good but you have to be creative (yes it holds up)
