I just beat campaign and just hit maps. I only have two ascendancy points atm. My resistances are capped with chaos at 20 as well. I’m lvl 68 invoker monk. My staff is probably my biggest opportunity as max dmg is only 209. With 1 divine I can get a staff close to 500max dps which I think will help. Also all my skills only have 3 sockets. I can’t find that jeweler to upgrade more sockets. 😭

I'm at tier 11 maps and I have one skill with 4 sockets. max damage is a meaningless metric on a staff as well. Is your build online? are you using multiple combo skills? Also your weapon is, by far, the most important part of an attack build. upgrade that as soon as possible. even if it's just putting quality and runes on it

The thing with rarity during the campaign is that endgame gives so much more loot that if your priority is loot, you'll get more by getting to endgame faster by making your build stronger than if you use rarity gear to get more loot during the campaign

most likely issue is that your weapon is out of date. Try to always be on the lookout for weapon upgrades. Even transmuting + augmenting white weapons on the ground can lead to upgrades. Regal them if they get two good mods.

Also don't forget to add sockets, runes, and quality to your weapon

If it's the triple ground slam that sends the Shockwave forward I would definitely say you should try to avoid. If you have move speed you can just walk around him. Maybe roll on the third part of the attack if you time it right.
