in Act 2 and just got my ascendancy, playing grenade merc and not sure if gemling legionnaire or witch hunter would be better. witch hunter seems a bit too niche while gemling seems pretty jack of all trades so not sure. off the top of my head, getting to slot multiple scattershot support as grenade merc seems like the best bonus of the bunch, but wanted people sinput

but your survivability honestly depends on if your minions are alive

so the more that are alive to soak up damage and shield yourself, the easier survivability gets

It's difficult to say a "best" ascendancy, though I have heard that Gemling is really great due to multiple reasons, one of which you mentioned... Others being gen level boosts, stats stacking, etc.

Ah yes, also make sure the website filter (top middle dropdown) is on the same league that you're playing (standard/ hardcore)
