I think a lot of people are trying to rush to beat the game - if you’re playing to beat every boss as fast as possible you’ll lose out on loot. If you wanna play through the game and maybe farm some bosses/areas you can level up + stack currency + find more items + gamble on items in exchange.

i think sandswept marsh is a pretty good place to farm gold fast. Lots of density of mobs, slow, and has high chance for rares to spawn. Map is also small enough to loop in a circle, and then just esc respawn mobs

Theres still a fundamental lack of gold and items when you consider just how much we use these items. As people have pointed out, some items in vendor shops are upwards of 20k gold which in normal play can take ages to get even in the endgame. Repecs are also a pain point. For the average joe that can spend maybe 20 hours a week on the game and maybe wants to respec a few times or just beat the campaign its a high ask to just "play more". At some point it becomes a chore more than fun and with how huge maps are, it eats your time away.

Hey! The drowned city A3, right-bottom-right is undergound door with money and sometimes rare mobs. Got +6k very fast.

I just got to act 3 and this has been a painful experience. Not sure if it's just me, I wonder how other poe1 players feel.
It's not even the boss moves (MH is one of my most played games), I am struggling with the lack of deterministic bench crafting and low currency. I did make some mistakes so maybe they were just too costly to recover from?

• In the stream/other vods GGG said we are going to have to use crafting currency early on to tackle difficulty. I regret alching low ip gear. Def a few alchs and regals that could've helped now. I can't even seem to get resistance on gear, very RNG and even a decent base with life and 1 defense mod ends up being something silly and I keep running out of artificier orbs to keep socketing progression gear.
• I quit merc at level 10 and decided to go xbow deadeye (didnt necessarily think of grenades as some popular content creators are doing, wanted to maybe frag, rapid shot w mult projectiles and grenade rotation), then respec'd to the class Lightning arrow mid act 2. Maybe this was costlier?
