I'm going to be completely honest, skill issues are very, very real parts of the gameplay. Even if you're undergeared, you can dodge all of the damage on the boss with enough knowledge of their animations allowing you to chip away at them.

Grinding instances to find better gear, level up, and farming gold to respec your skill tree to buy better passive skills for what you're trying to do all go a long way in rectifying skissues on the other hand.

I’m currently in Cruel mode, I failed the Trial of Sekhema once. After failing, I seem to be stuck and can’t retry.
I’ve lost the Sekhema’s Coin required for the trial.
Talking to Balbarfa in the trial area doesn’t do anything, I tried killing Balbarfa again to see if the coin would drop, but nothing happens.

the problem i have when holding down a skill (wasd) is I need to move my mouse really far to move the direction of my attacks , but this only happens when im damaging enemies with it, otherwise it behaves normally.
in the pic my mouse is at red cross but after several attacks its still not moving to that direction (and if i were not attacking any enemies it would instantly change), it will only change direction if I move even further away from the original direction...

Doubt you made the same mistake but, I stopped struggling with archer around the time I realized that +x% projectile damage doesn't actually affect the important part of any skills, and respecced to actual damage

I don't know all the rules. You can only spend them on weapon/damage clusters it seems like, and you can't mix and match regular points and weapon set points on the same cluster. So I have weapon set 1 points spent on cold nodes so that when I use my cold skills it will use that weapon set and those nodes. For set two I put points into a lightning cluster for when I swap to that weapon set and use lightning skills.

They don't technically wipe the progress because the characters are still playable, but only lame people play old characters

ZiggyD made a video about ascendencies. So the quest text is bugged, for 3rd and 4th ascendant points (5/6, and 7/8) you need tier 3 and tier 4 coins respectively. So for the sanctum challenge, you need a coin that contains 3 rooms (dunno about the ultimatum chaos coin, dunno how to tell what tier it is) but lookup ziggyD's video about ascendency
