megalosaurs do a lot of weird things but they have a very john theropod appearance

that being said I can and will take shots at schizo taxa

also troodon is a cool name (and it might be coming back anyways so you could end up looking like an accidental genius)

the next brontosaurus experience

depends if Currie's neotype gets accepted

Gigantoraptor

Behaviour- young gigantoraptor would stay with they’re parents foraging for food and interacting/socialising with others in its group, once its near fully grown they would leave they’re group and find another group similar in age for protection and a chance to find a mate.

Mating season behaviour- gigantoraptors will let out loud rumbling calls that would attract females and other competition, when trying to impress a female they would essentially “dance” waving around its feathers and stomping the ground to prove its strength, if another male tries to gain the females attention the other male would intimidate the other male through stomps, loud calls and trying to make themselves look bigger, if they don’t back down they would occasionally peck eachother till the weaker or smaller male would back down and leave.

Nesting behaviour- the gigantoraptor will leave its group to become hyper aggressive and would intimidate anything though bellows, stomps or false charges to anything comes near its young or nest, if they don’t back down they would attack the animal through pecks, kicks or stomps.

Diet- it would eat leaves, nuts, fruit, seeds, small animals like lizards, mammals etc or carrion if it gets the chance.

It's far better, healthier, and safer to feed your carnivores whole carcasses for enrichment.
The zoo I worked at would often give the lions and wild dogs whole carcasses to eat, sometimes hanging them from tree limbs to stimulate predatory behaviors and get them some exercise. Oftentimes it was whole rabbits or chickens for the dogs and cheetahs, and cow legs for the lions. Once it was an entire goat.

#

Funnily enough the predators never hesitated to go for a whole carcass, but one time the keepers painstakingly made zebra out of cardboard boxes, painted it, and stuffed it with organ meats for the three cubs' first birthday. The cubs were terrified of it and refused to go anywhere near it until they let mom out with them, and she promptly knocked it over.

Unique dinosaurs (maybe dlc?)

Lurdusaurus- a semi aquatic herbivorous dinosaur, would move in the water like a hippo.

Aquilarhinus- mainly eats aquatic plants, maybe an alt species of muttabarrasaurus.

Troodon- could possibly (plausible) mimic other sounds for social interactions, to scare off threats by mimicking the sounds of large predators, mimicking the sound of other animals like small herbivores or parent dinosaurs calling their hatchlings to create a false sense of safety or momentarily confusion to kill it.

Camptosaurus- could have a rare symbiotic relationship with other herbivores like stegosaurus, being an early warning system and letting out calls to alert the herd of predators.

Bonapartenykus- mainly an insectivore, using its arms to rip open termite mounds.
