#Community Species Suggestions

You know, therizinosaurid feels like base game animal
It does
-# should've been a combat-update slam dunk ngl
Thinking about it
they should add this thing I think
I think that’s Macrauchenia? or Aepycamelus
they should add me
and more completed too
Tropeognathus remains cool, but what a mess of a naming convention
Good chance it isn't even Quetz lol
The 8 inch long shaggy feathers with an undercoat beg to differ
I remember when people thought it had a trunk
Most people do
Can't talk about the details I believe, but there is reason to suspect the Nemegt has been estimated as colder than it'd likely be
In the same time and place as the butt-arse naked Psittacosaurus, and other species likely also naked like ankylosaurs
I’m not saying it didn’t get “cold,” but I hate that Yutyrannus is singled out as some sort of special cold-adapted species just because it had feathers
Psittaco has thicker skin than just about any animal of its size, thought to be an adaptation to colder climates
The average temperature of the Yixian is somewhere around that of modern Boston
With a higher elevation
Then we should consider Psittacosaurus sp. a cold species
Crocodylia DLC
Free Species:
- Kaprosuchus saharicus
- Sarcosuchus imperator
Habitat:
- Barinasuchus arveloi
- Dakosaurus maximus
- Gryposuchus jessei
- Purussaurus brasiliensis
- Stomatosuchus inermis
- Voay robustus
Vivarium:
- Araripesuchus tsangatsangana
- Mekosuchus inexpectatus
And all the Yixian fauna
Pretty good
I'd go Grypo
Stomatosuchus and Metriorhynchus are also good
Rhampho who?
I was gonna include Quinkana instead of Meko but Meko is considerably less fragmentary
theres definitely a lot more pseudosuchians you could add
I’m trying to do it the way Phorcys does it, six habitat species and two vivie species
fair
Voay
you could probably make a full pack off just Thalattosuchia
Do you think we could get a shrimp food type for filter feeders?
I'd hope so
I do wish they split plants into browse (shrubs, trees) and graze (grasses, low ferns?)
I'm happy with the current biome split but I guess you could go further
I think the cold biome just being “boreal” is a bit thin
Should go back to climates 🗿
Amphibian DLC Pack
Free Species:
- Eryops megacephalus
Habitat:
- Diadectes sideropelicus
- Koolasuchus cleelandi
- Mastodonsaurus giganteus
- Pholiderpeton scutigerum
- Prionosuchus plummeri
- Trematosaurus brauni
Vivarium:
- Chunerpeton tianyiensis
- Platyhystrix rugosis
Same
Also fern feeder similar to hay bales
why they call it Trematosaurus if it’s not a saurus
Morrison Formation DLC
Habitat:
- Amphicotylus lucasii
- Barosaurus lentus
- Camptosaurus dispar
- Gargoyleosaurus parkpinorum
- Ornitholestes hermanni
- Tanycolagreus topwilsoni
Vivarium:
- Docodon victor (Terrestrial)
- Cteniogenys antiquus (Amphibious)
- Diablophis gilmorei (Arboreal)
- Eilenodon robustus (Terrestrial)
- Fruitadens haagarorum (Terrestrial)
- Hallopus victor (Terrestrial)
new alt. species/genus:
- Apatosaurus louisae
- Hesperosaurus mjosi
(Stegosaurus alt. genus)
Would cerato be non dlc
Cerato and Diplo were on the OG list
og list as in big 50?
yeah
but that's kinda meaningless now
Unironically kinda yeah
They seem to be returning, probably
At minimum they are alpine regardless
PK seriously needs more cold biome options than “boreal”
But it’s probably too late to even suggest that
I think boreal covers the cold regions florally just fine
Technically speaking I'm pretty sure the Yixian would fall into temperate using modern similar regions
Simply on the colder side
It's also been compared to the region of discovery
Jinzhou I believe it's called?
Within the Liaoning province
Boston is much more coastal than Yixian would have been
So that part wouldn't be particularly applicable
Most of the Yixian formation is a single or small collection of alpine lakes
Then cold, dry winter, hot summer
At least according to koppen
From gameplay perspective I would give it temperate
Yeah
Which is what P. sp has
I could see Yuty getting boreal for the meme though
Same for Cryo
I don’t see the issue of yuty getting boreal cuz of gameplay variety
we should get Liaoningosaurus /lh
given that all the other members of the 50 that I recall were on the post-EA free species list I dont think so
Aside guanlong of course, which looks like was the 5th cut animal
Tbf, that list may have extended further down
And idk why people consider the pre-50 species absolutely cut
I just noticed guan was cut alongside nothro, tenonto, thesc and sauropelta
we don’t need Nothro if we’re gonna get Theri
Tenoto and Sauropelta are questionable cuts
Every species is in limbo except Nanotyrannus
Thescelo is
eh, I wouldn’t really care if it was in or not
and Coty
oh mein gott its EZ
Hey Ez
What do you think of Macrauchenia? I was thinking about it today and I really want it in game
we need Physeter macrocephalus
All should come back
Deinonychus included
Macrauchenia would be Neat as social SA mammal
Premium Cheese
no, what we need is Squalodon
I need the dolphin-whale
Pezosiren for an Islands DLC
Xenorhinotherium, Theosodon also would Fit
I love the fur flying off
Deinonychus especially
I would want all three best Dromeosaurids in Prehistoric Kingdom: Utahraptor, Deinonychus, Austroraptor
Nothing else
how we feeling on Sivatherium
Uh oh
Bramatherium as Alt is needed since it's close relative to it
ready up
Platybelodon tho
Perfect
would it need its own rig considering its skull shape
any of those weird ass SANUs in general
I am excited for U18 and U19
Would probably be elephant rig, but with adjusted feeding animation
It’s also ignoring really interesting traits of non feathered dinosaurs from the formation
They were a lot bigger than people realize if I’m not mistaken
Plus they could get super unique with the head and possible coat lengths since it had a large range
how we feeling about Stratodus
Yesss
I know it’s probably a bit generic when compared to other WIS species but I think it’s cool
compare it to:
- Dolichorynchops
- Elasmosaurus
- Enchoteuthis
- Parapuzosia
- Tylosaurus
- Xiphactinus
As extinct fish go Stratodus is not generic at all it's absolutely in the same realm as those.
yeah I have no idea wtf I was talking about
Islands DLC
Free Species:
- Mammuthus exilis
- Masiakasaurus knopfleri
Habitat Species:
- Hatzegopteryx thamemba
- Magyarosaurus dacus
- Meiolania platyceps/brevicollis/sp.
- Aepyornis maximus
- Thecodontosaurus antiquus
- Hoplitomeryx matthei
Vivarium Species:
- Deinogalerix koenigswaldi
- Pterodactylus antiquus
Ehhh
Tyto gigantea was probably eating them
This feels like it’d basically fill the role of a small dromaeosaur
I’ve read that large female owls probably hunted them occasionally
You mean the Tarbosaurus isotope paper?
Would be fierce battle then with deinogalerix eating owl on ocassion
It argues for a mean annual temp of ~8 C, which like, is cold, but it's not freezing
Winters could drop to 0, but they're likely not dropping much further
Nemegt was still situated in a highland desert, so it's going to be absolutely blitzing during the summer
Some Enantiornithes would be nice as vivarium
Ngl I’d move Hatz and Magy to their own DLC featuring Zalmoxes, Telmatosaurus, and Struthiosaurus
With the blurred RE DLC, I got some new lists for potential DLC
Show PLEASE, BE OUR SAVIOUR
Recently Extinct
Bos (Aurochs)
Conuropsis (Caroline Parakeet) - Vivarium
Dinornis (Giant Moa)
Equus (Quagga and Wild Horse)
Extopistes (Passenger Pigeon) - Vivarium
Pinguinus (Great Auk)
Raphus (Dodo)
Thylacinus (Thylacine)
Marine DLC
Anomalocaris - Vivarium
Archelon
Elasmosaurus
Icthyosaurus/Stenopterygius
Jaekelopterus - Vivarium
Kronosaurus
Mosasaurus
Stellar's Sea Cow
Flying DLC
Confuciusornis - Vivarium
Dsungaripterus
Hieraaetus (Haast's Eagle)
Jeholornis - Vivarium
Pteranodon/Geosternbergia
Quetzalcoatlus/Hatzegopteryx
Tropeognathus
Tupandactylus
Vivarium DLC
Acanthostega - Vivarium
Didelphodon - Vivarium
Eryops - Vivarium
Euparkaria - Vivarium
Halszkaraptor - Vivarium
Isotelus - Vivarium
Lystrosaurus - Vivarium
Thrinaxodon - Vivarium
Paleozoic DLC
Anteosaurus
Dimetrodon
Dunkleosteus
Edaphosaurus
Estemmenosuchus
Inostrancevia
Moschops
Scutosaurus/Pareiasaurus
I don't know if Ophthalmo makes a good alt for Ichthyo
I would also go Tropeognathus over Ornithocheirus
Triassic DLC
Desmatosuchus
Drepanosaurus - Vivarium
Eoraptor - Vivarium
Herrerasaurus
Lisowicia
Placerias
Postosuchus
Saurosuchus
Jurassic DLC
Camptosaurus
Ceratosaurus
Diplodocus/Barosaurus
Juramaia - Vivarium
Kentrosaurus
Ornitholestes
Plesiosaurus
Rhamphorhynchus
giving Ichthyosaurus species alts or Stenopterygius is better
especially since Ophthalmo and Icthyo aren't really that close
Cretaceous DLC
Centrosaurus
Deinonychus
Gorgosaurus/Albertosaurus
Jeholornis - Vivarium
Repenomamus - Vivarium
Stenonychosaurus/Troodon
Tenontosaurus
Therizinosaurus
wouldn't go Troodon
yeah I know
until the mess is sorted out its not a good pick
Stenon with a Troodon sp alt is a slightly better option
Fair compromise
unless Currie's neotype is accepted but even then its problematic
I would split the Cenozoic
Palaeogene, Neogene, Quaternary
I actually did split it to Early and Late Cenozoic
Redo
Early Cenozoic DLC
Basilosaurus
Dorudon
Gastornis
Hyracotherium - Vivarium
Hyaenodon
Merycoidodon/Mesoreodon
Purgatorius - Vivarium
Late Cenozoic DLC
Bison (Long Horned Bison)
Camelops (Giant Camel)
Daeodon
Diprotodon
Gigantopithecus
Moropus/Ancylotherium
Procranioceras
Varanus (Megalania)
Cenozoic is an era while something like Cretaceous is a period
so it doesn't really split early-late
I know, I'm just trying to keep it to quality over quantity
Finale Pack
Arctodus (Short Faced Bear)
Cryolophosaurus
Hippotragus (Bluebuck)
Mammut (American Mastodon)
Mapusaurus/Giganotosaurus
Megalosaurus
Otodus (Megalodon)
Paleoloxodon
And that's about it
Tweaked them according to your suggestions
Prionosuchus is early permian
Shit, my bad lmao
your fine
I'm guessing they are going to be consistent with 6 full exhibits and 2 Vivs, maybe
eryops viv is diabolical
also lystro
It’d be one of the bigger vivarium animals next to Titanoboa
Too iconic not to include lol
theres no reason for either of these to be vivs
by that i mean ery and lystro
isn’t Lystro like the same size as Diictodon
not the largest species, but heres murrayi
Basically just a Morrison dlc
Though half are not in Morrison
Sooooo
5 are, 4 aren’t
Stupendemys and Gigantoraptor is what I want the most maybe at least in this current moment
Oh and also a giant armadillo
I would love for the Purusaurus to be added into PK alongside the Deinosuchus hopefully in U18.
Grypo/Rhampho/Dyro tho
Hello i suggest whole Bunch of Giraffs:
Bramatherium
Discokeryx
Samotherium
Giraffokeryx
Climacoceras
Injanatherium
Honanotherium
Georgiomeryx
Shansitherium
Mitilanotherium
Birgerbohlinia
Sivatherium is WELL KNOW TO EVERYONE
Gigantoraptor
It is a flocking animal that goes up to 3-5 individuals per flock, when nesting they become very aggressive and intimidate or attack other animals near its nest and drive away other gigantoraptor, sitting on its nest constantly only leaving for food and water.
Gigantoraptor would eat a mixture of vegetation, seeds, and nuts, supplemented by small vertebrates, insects, and the eggs of other dinosaurs and potentially feeding on carrion when having the chance.
It has 3 attacks 2 having a charge variation.
Peck it used mainly long ranged and has a charge variation, does medium damage and light piercing damage.
Claw swipe is used close ranged and does low damage and low bleed damage.
Kick is a close range attack and does the medium damage, low piercing and high bleed damage, has a charge variation.
I don’t really know how combat will work so piercing and bleed is an addition if it ever gets added.
Piercing ignores armor.
Bleed does damage overtime.
just gonna say this
nothing against gigantoraptor
but 2/3 of your description being based on combat mechanics isnt very indicitive of PK animal behavior
even when combat is added
Going to start doing my own daily recommendations from here on out.
May 25, Phosphatherium escuilliei. Despite not looking like one, this little guy is one of the earliest-known proboscideans and really goes to show that elephants started from humble beginning. Discovered in the Ouled Abdoun Basin, located in Morocco, in 1996, Phosphatherium is believed to have been a herbivore with a semi-aquatic lifestyle similar to modern day hippos. Phosphatherium lacked a trunk and instead used a rhino-like upper lip to graze plants.
Being the size of a large house cat, Phosphatherium is likely the only proboscidean in the game that’s also viable as a vivarium species. While there are more notable early proboscideans out there such as Moeritherium or Numidotherium, I feel Phosphatherium is a notable addition due to its unique size and notable attributes. While its fossil record mostly contains of cranial and dental material, scientists have been able to learn enough from it that fragmentary remains aren’t much of an issue.
Just read the most depressing article about searching for Imperial Woodpeckers in Mexico and man they'd be a great choice for a "Recently Extint DLC, Volume 2"
I would go for moeritherium for basal proboscideans
While this is a fair argument and I’d love to see Moeritherium in, Phosphatherium is earlier than Moeritherium and is our best (and only) candidate for a viable vivarium proboscidean. A weak reason, I know, but it’d be interesting to see.
Fair, I put Moeritherium as it has a "complete" fossil while Phosphatherium, from what I can tell, only has a skull
Well, think about it like this
Moeritherium is our full exhibit basal proboscidean, Phosphatherium is a vivarium one
It's sort of like how many people request a second basal bipedal ceratopsian (Aquilops/Microceratus/Yinlong etc) despite Psittacosaurus already being in the game; they cover different size niches, and ergo one is full exhibit, one is vivarium
Ik I just pinpointed the possibly unique behaviour of gigantoraptor
Besides its a species suggestion it’s not like everything in my suggestion will be added
"Piercing ignores armor"?
Yea I said that I don’t know how the combat system will work so if it depends on a defense stat or something
that’s what I’d prefer
Example say there’s a armored animal with a high defense stat the small percentage of the raw damage that does piercing ( ignores armor ) and just directly hits the health or something like that
Sorry if it’s a bad explanation it’s like 2am for me and I’m tired
PK combat isn't going to be this extensive
Ok
mastodon when
the combat system aint gonna be that deep bro
Colombian Mastodon for sure
what
oh
that doesn't exist
Colombian Mammoth
huh
lol
I’m duuuuuuumb
Columbian mammoth is allegedly in the post-release DLC ideas
I could see it being a heavy hitter addition alongside a La Brea DLC with dire wolves, Megalonyx, Camelops, Platygonus, and Arctodus. Two vivariums (idk which ngl) and the long-horned bison making its glorious comeback as the free species
i think a paramylodon would be better suited to a la brea dlc
tmk megalonyx is relatively rare in the pits
may be wrong though
Capromeryx and the owl
ngl Nothrotheriops, actually
good choice too
is Nothro the one that Sid was based off of
nah it was megalonyx i think
Yeah, that sounds about right.
Fun fact; It was neither.
ik there was a turkey too
Dwarf pronghorn and Kurochkin's pygmy owl would be cool
Sid wasn't based on any spefic ground sloth. The idea that Sid is a Megalonyx to my knowledge is good ol' misinformation spread by the Ice Age fandom wiki
Paleontologists were asked about which ground sloth Sid gets CLOSEST to and they said Nothrotheriops shastensis
"not related to the sloths we know today"
Go to sandbox, turn off combat, put a woolly mammoth, a Nothrotheriops, and a Smilodon fatalis in one enclosure
:)
I like the idea that giant ground sloths could just fuck around and do whatever they wanted because nothing wanted to fuck with them
even if that might not’ve been the case
imagine a world where ground sloths and mammoths were still living among us
younger dryas made a ton of wetland dependent species get thrown off
speaking of wetlands
cervalces would be lovely
c. scotti and c. latifrons
and castoroides
La Brea needs Aenocyon, Camelops, Shasta Ground Sloth, Columbian Mammoth
Arctodus TOO
Palaeoloxodon namadicus for a DLC, I want to pay for it.
Canadian Creatures DLC
Habitat:
- Albertonectes vanderveldei, alt. genus Wapuskanectes betsynichollsae
- Albertosaurus sarcophagus, alt. genus Gorgosaurus libratus
- Arctodus simus
- Borealopelta markmitchelli
- Chasmosaurus belli
- Paramylodon harlani, alt. genus Mylodon darwini
Vivarium:
- Anomalocaris canadensis
- Teraterpeton hrynewichorum
probably not the best
Alberto's on the list of free potential post-release animals(also I do actually think it's a shoe-in for an update).
Well, not confirmed from what I recall but pretty likely.
what's the point of having leidyosuchus if there's already going to be deinosuchus?
we need more than just Deinosuchus for crocodylians
but Leidyo is probably the one I’m the most unsure on, yes
what about albertochampsa for a smaller crocodylian?
also that's basically mostly a dinosaur park dlc
replaced Leidyo with Albertonectes
yeah i think that's a better choice
actually do elasmosaurus with albertonectes alt
i know elasmosaurus wasn't found in canada
I’m pretty sure they’d include Elasmosaurus in a base marine expansion
Styxosaurus would probably be an Elasmo alt genus
I’m thinking Wapuskanectes as the alt genus for Albertonectes
that would be more like juxia to paraceratherium
Paraceratherium as an alt. for Juxia? is that what you mean
other way around
like wapuskanectes would be like the juxia to paraceratherium's albertonectes
japan would basically have "fukui-" taxa
germany has a lot
you could do multiple germany dlcs
like a vivarium-centric messel pit one
here's for instance, a sohnholfen-centric one (though it would be vivarium, flying and marine animals)
-rhamphorynchus
-anurognathus (vivarium)
-dakosaurus
-pterodactylus
-spathagnathus
-palaeocarcharias
-schoenesmahl (vivarium)
-sciurumimus
Japan DLC
Habitat:
- Allodesmus sinanoensis, alt. species kelloggi
- Brygmophyseter shigensis
- Fukuiraptor kitadaniensis
- Fukuivenator paradoxus
- Phosphasaurus ponpetelegans, alt. species ortliebi
- Stegodon aurorae, alt. species orientalis
Vivarium:
- Annakacygna hajimei
- Anomalochelys angulata
if there's marine stuff megapterygius could be a good add
also stegodon orientalis and aurorae could be another add (do alts)
theres also the phosphorosaurus from japan
which i think is a good addition with or without country of origin
Annakacygna is just cool to me
I wanna see a filter-feeding sea swan in the game because that’s just so unique
yeah, and i may also add mesodermochelys for marine stuff
other dinosaurs could be paralitherizinosaurus, tyrannomimus, hypnovenator (yes i know about hodari), maybe sasayamagnomus as an aquilops alt
I’m trying to restrict it to 6 habitat species and 2 vivie species
i see then, though based on that dlc proposal it may be 7-8-ish habitat species and 2 vivarium?
Recently Extinct DLC is 6 habitat and 2 vivie
is there not a lot when it comes to Korea
there’s barely anything
like do we really need to add doolysaurus?
even among the 2026 discoveries it's not really as huge...
hypnovenator is garbage
paralitherizinosaurus
yeah but i was kinda spitballing
That's a lotta giraffes
That’s my goat
I’d love to see a pack in the future with animals from the Miocene
Giant killer birds and pigs and such
We all love dinosaurs but there are so few games representing these weird and wonderful mammals
As much as I enjoy Giganto, PK isn’t going to be a fighting game
You’re describing P.E.’s Gigantoraptor lol
Duonychus is A LOT MORE INTERESTING therizinosaurid
i would like beipi once the adult specimens are described
Also Hypnovenator has allegations
Falcarius:
Wtf are you talking about
Brazil DLC
Habitat:
- Baurusuchus pachecoi
- Irritator challengeri
- Prionosuchus plummeri
- Staurikosaurus pricei
- Toxodon platensis
- Tropeognathus mesembrinus
Vivarium:
- Mesosaurus tenuidens (Amphibious)
- Venetoraptor gassenae (Arboreal)
what romualdo stuff have u already listed
Irritator and Tropeognathus
like in previous dlc suggestion i mean
nothing from my previous country DLC suggestions
thalassodromeus would be worth adding then methinks
Thalassodromeus > Tropeognathus, or should I keep Tropeo?
they occupy different roles as far as how they would be exhbited/how they behave
both are good
well it’s either one or the other, I’m trying to keep it at 6 habitat species and 2 vivie species
just keep thal in mind then for a future idea then ^^
ight
I'd keep Tropeo on that list
this one is a banger, for sure would buy it

working on Argentina now
Salta Amarga or Brachytrachelopan
on everyones soul we need Brachytrachelopan
i can see amarga base game, brachy lowk
Argentina DLC
Free Species:
- Amargasaurus cazaui
- Herrerasaurus ichigualastensis
Habitat:
- Argentavis magnificens
- Brachytrachelopan mesai
- Eoraptor lunensis
- Giganotosaurus carolinii, alt. genus Mapusaurus roseae
- Sebecus icaeorhinus, alt. genus Barinasuchus arveloi
- Thylacosmilus atrox
Vivarium:
- Buitreraptor gonzalezorum (Terrestrial)
- Interatherium robustum (Amphibious)
I was originally gonna include Salta and Proborhyaena 💔
oh mein gott Giganotosaurus roseae
They're pretty cool
sivatherium good
they're like giraffes but prehistoric
Which Ones are YOUR fav Mr Troodon?
erm er
Sivatherium not counts
G. camelopardalis
is that not Sivatherium
Bramatherium? Discokeryx?
dont forget tsaidamotherium
Bramatherium could work as an alt for Sivatherium, but it strikes me as alts for the sake of alts
I will NEVER forget Prolibytherium
also a cool one
They are c.r
We need Sivatherium Maurusium, Giganteum,Hendeyi
we need Mautherium
North Africa DLC:
Free Species:
- Sarcosuchus imperator
Habitat:
- Aegirocassis benmoulai
- Arsinoitherium zitteli
- Moeritherium lyonsi
- Ocepechelon bouyai
- Prolibytherium magnieri
- Stomatosuchus inermis
Vivarium:
- Aegyptopithecus zeuxis (Arboreal)
- Macroscaphites yvani (Aquatic)
actually Sivatherium, Discokeryx and Prolibytherium are a decent trio of giraffoids
they’re the giraffoids I’d prefer the most
4th giraff can be Bramatherium as Alt for Sivatherium
i really dont care for most mammals so ill trust yall on this lol
not really a 4th giraffe then is it
Brama feels like an alt for the sake of having an alt ngl
^
Mau is Simple Dude if he hates something in reality he loves it
was Siva discovered in North Africa or nah
.... theres more of a visual difference than with the panthera and smilodons
Yes but if we suggest every visually distinct animal then we’d have a dozen ceratopsids as contenders
Watch this
they kinda do and id say brahma deserves it more than 2 triceratops species
We need some grassland stuff like Deinotherium, Sivatherium, Ancylotherium (African Chalicothere)
And we are Happy
Why not regular Chalicotherium
Chalicotherium is kinda shit ngl
Deinotherium and Sivatherium are both my most wanted African mammals I think
True words
Anisodon is the better calichotheriine
Famous name and such, but apparently it looks like knuckle walking schizothere, while anisodon clade was going full convergent with great apes
Moropus is Neat
All the cool Chalicotherium reconstructions are actually Anisodon
🗿
I think God was just smoking a lot of shit during the Miocene
i want what he had
he was just on the strongest LSD imaginable
Oh in that case go Anisodon
I'm not that familiar with these guys
Well yeah, there was grass everywhere
Anisodon used to be a species of Chalicotherium and was often used as a basis for reconstructions
every time i see any chalicothere i just think of this weirdo
Why can we be limited to only Chalicotherium, like Ancylotherium,Moropus, Tylocephalonyx, Nestoritherium Exist
Miocene is Totally Underrated
i mean the past 65 million years altogether mammals have just been testing dumb stuff
barylambda
it gives the ''generic mammal'' vibe of the hyrax
we lost some real ones at the end of the Eocene
it looks so unpacable but also so standard mammal
would genuinely love to see some mammals like this its a often overlooked period in games rn we only have titanoboa right?
yeah
there’s quite a few good choices too
Phenacodus, Coryphodon, Stylinodon, Taeniolabis, Titanoides, Barylambda, Plesiadapis, Gastornis, Carbonemys
Embolotherium, Eobasileus, Uintatherium, Megacerops
also a sebecid
i mean in terms of more normal shaped modern lineage crocodilians id say some of the later ones are better purrusaurus and voay for example
100%
Crocodylus Anthropopohagus, Crocodylus Thorbjornarsoni are maybe good
i dont think this will happen or is necesarry
purru and deino are essentially a large caiman and alligator while sarco does look very similar to modern crocs then voay as a more reasonable sized crocodile would probably fill it up pretty nicely i think thats enough standard crocodile shaped crocodilians (not excluding things like the filter feeding one its waaay different)
phytosaurs and champsosaurus would be great though
id say a good choice its very distinct looking
also a good option
they both dont seem to be in the same niche as deino voay purru and sarco are
i just meant that things to similar to modern crocodiles excluding the gharial will be in the game and we dont need to many of them not that other unique cases should be excluded
id say modern crocodilians alltogether but i dont think sarco is
May 26, Squalodon whitmorei. Though originally believed to be an iguanodontid, palaeontologists would soon discover that it was actually a toothed whale with teeth similar to a sharks’. Discovered in Europe, eastern North America, New Zealand, and Argentina, it lived in the Oligocene and Miocene epochs of the Paleogene and Neogene respectively. Similarly to an orca, it is believed that Squalodon was a predator that preyed on small seabirds, marine mammals, fish, and cephalopods.
Squalodon, Eurhinodelphis, and Nihohae are the dolphins I’d love to see
Ankylorhiza too
yesssss Eurhinodelphis would be sick
as long as we don’t have any show mechanics like in ZT2 I’d love to see it
we also need Eurhinosaurus if we get Eurhinodelphis
this would be my reaction if Eurhinodelphis got in

domehead dolphin(globicetus)
kinda looks like a river dolphin
Pachycephalocetus
and ensidelphis it has an assymentrically bent mouth
Borzoi moment
except its bent sideways
How sure are we that’s not just taphonomy or pathology
yeah but i pray to god they find more haha
and that it is in fact standard lol
i just remembered it and thought it would be funny to send
however on the topic of ceteceans a predatory baleen whale relalative would be really cool and coronodon has really cool dentition
nothing special in size but plenty unique and threathening
anyone else get this vibe from that reconstruction
"Its not that funny, guys!"
they seem to think its hilarious
Mongolia DLC
Free Species:
- Therizinosaurus cheloniformis
Habitat:
- Embolotherium andrewsi
- Gobiatherium mirificum
- Mongolestes hadrodens
- Opisthocoelicaudia skarzynskii, alt. genus Nemegtosaurus mongoliensis
- Sarkastodon mongoliensis
- Tarchia kielanae, alt. species teresae & tumanovae
Vivarium:
- Gobiosuchus kielanae (Terrestrial)
- Halszkaraptor escuilliei (Amphibious)
Really enjoying these DLC pack ideas, Autumn. Thanks for sharing!
Croc Mini Pack
Habitat Species:
- Kaprosuchus saharicus
- Sebecus icaeorhinus
- Dakosaurus maximus
Vivarium Species:
- Mekosuchus whitehunterensis
Barina would be a good alt. genus for Sebecus methinks
Maybe
is kapro better as an alt for the other guy actually
it is just a skull
even though that skull is really well preserved
Mahajanga?
IMO the head is too different for them to be alts
And Kapro is more famous and visually distinctive
I’d love both but if I need to choose I’d go with Kapro
I think the tricky part with a DLC like this is that there’s so many good crocs to choose from
even the more obscure ones like Fruitachampsa or Piscogavialis would work really well
Sure but first I’d cover the more iconic ones
fair
I would also rather have Kapro
Pseudosuchian Mini Pack
Habitat Species:
- Smilosuchus adamanensis/gregorii
- Shuvosaurus inexpectatus
- Qianosuchus mixtus
Vivarium Species:
- Parvosuchus aurelioi
Yes and also I like the size niche better for a shuvosaur
how about a 10 species archosauromorpha dlc spanning more time and focusing on lesser known things so no sarcho or purrusaurus
on everyones soul that better include Erythrosuchus
sorry archosauriform but cmon we reaaaally need erythro or fasolasuchus
thats literally my n1 favourite extinct animal ill never forget about that guy
I'd go Saurosuchus over Fasolasuchus
or Posto
id say its just about enough
Not realistic imo
decent skull portions + limb bones tell us quite a lot
the RE has 9 and i genuinely think they are keeping a moa or aurochs alt to reveal later
id say 6 new models 2 alts 2 viv
The truth is that for specific clades a small DLC is probably the only way it’s happening
Same with specific formations
yo Phorcys
how would you do a country-focused DLC
i can think of a dozen archosauriformes that are great options
Same format, 3/1
not that obscure looking at the playerbase either
I’m doing it 6/2
regretted doing it that way for my North Africa DLC
Same but that doesn’t make it realistic to devote those resources to it
I already included some of the others in theme dlc ideas
Posto is bipedal so for this specific niche maybe not
i disagree if we are just straight up talking dlc suggestions you can make up any theme and the devs will decide what they deem best. the game so far doesnt shy away from obscure stuff
Postosuchus is also probably on the free additions list
I'd be shocked if we never saw it in game
I’m specifically aiming for a plausible roster
give me a minute to write some suggestions really its possible
just poposauroidae is like 3 really good options already
My goal with these pack ideas is to narrow down my vast wishlist into something more reasonable
arizonasaurus, poposaurus, fasolasuchus, erythrosuchus, desmatosuchus, qianosuchus, lotosaurus are all great options im not saying all should be added in 1 dlc but if you pick arschosauriformes as a dlc theme you could easily do 6 species 2 alts 2 vivs
4 just seems more like it should be a free update
or really cheap
yeah i dont even consider it for that reason its such an easy pick for any update or dlc
Desmatosuchus is already on my Triassic list
ah okay the way you worded it it seemed like you said there arent enough archosaurs worthy of being in the game
except for dinos ofc
since your list had 4
No Saurolophus or Prenocephale?
I see you've chosen exile
how dare i forget vancleava
No that’s not what I said
it seemed like you meant the clade isnt diverse enough
What I said was that I don’t think it’s reasonable to expect a large pack that’s all about a single clade
why not? i could see a mammal pack happen
That’d be an insane thing to say lol
yeah lol
I’d expect a Cenozoic pack that’s got a lot of mammals or a Triassic pack that’s got a lot of Pseudosuchians but not a dedicated mammal or Pseudosuchian pack
personally id say out of all extinct animals archosauriformes (that are not dinosaurs or pterosaurs) are my favorite
That’s why I made the mini pack format, to give a boost on my list to groups that might not justify a full pack but have more interesting diversity than larger theme packs can represent
Same with the fish mini pack
i think its possible though since we are still dealing with dozens of families in each occasion its not like making a carnivoran dlc for planet zoo the options vary widely
There’s enough great fish to make several full sized dlcs
But if I’m thinking realistically it’s not plausible
i think if you take them from diverse enough groups it can work
You could make something good but could you make something that feels like it could really happen?
i think the mammal dlc would be the best option
thinking of things that are unlikely to be added in regional dlcs
manis paleojavanica
desmostylus
any large early mammal carnivore tbf
although i do still stand by my idea of clade based vivarium dlcs since its easy to produce
like for large animals i can understand but it just completely depends on where the devs deside to throw them in
vivarium dlcs could be more themed since it will give more species anyway
and for vivs it really does fit
since modern zoos have indoor aviaries, aquariums and reptile rooms so dlcs around these themes make sense for vivariums
Aquarium DLC
Free Species:
- Parapuzosia seppenradensis
Habitat Species:
- Diplomoceras maximum
- Protosphyaerna ferox
Vivarium Species:
- Megamastax amblyodus
- Cephalaspis lyelli
- Aegirocassis benmoulai
- Sacabambaspis janvieri
- Acadoparadoxoides briareus
- Tullimonstrum gregarium
- Dollocaris ingens
- Aspidorhynchus sanzenbacheri
- Mixosaurus cornalianus
- Bothriolepis canadensis
i wish we got habitats
tullimonstrum is to small
so is dollocaris
Tulli and Dollo are like
on the borderline
wait
since when is tully 35cm
did i miss something
my god thats big enough
i genuinely thought both were like 5-8cm
im happy they are not however
I always misread it as M. cornelius and get confused
how big was Aegiro? wasn’t it kinda a big guy
About Tiktaalik size
I think
Maybe slightly larger
but imagine dlc like this with themed prebuilt buildings that you can put vivariums into
Dollocaris is up to a foot, it’s about the size of Sahonachelys
hell yeah moment
is Aegiro one of those species that works as both a habitat and a vivie
Eh, only if you don’t think about ontogeny
Do we even know what radiodont larvae looked like
i think the exhibit size can be a little smaller for most aquatics and semiaquatics mainly because they are on more open terrain and more visible. the ontogeny could just start a little bigger than it realistically should ig
but aegirocassis is a bit wonky for that
if you compare it to the auk its not unreasonable but it simply wouldnt need the mobility the auk or obdurodon would realistically need
I would say Lario works as well as Mixo does
Sure but it’s not one of my priorities and I couldn’t just put everything in
There’s already a lot of sauropterygians on my list
how large is Dollocaris actually
12 inches
30cm apparently
i gotta check ainiktozoon again if i was this wrong
As big as or slightly bigger than Sahonachelys
shame
slightly shorter its shell was 25cm so with head and legs wed be at 40cm or more when extended
oh no i was talking about sahona having a shell of 25cm
I know
i saw dollocaris is 30cm i hope we get it one day
And I’m saying that Dollocaris was bigger than 30cm
Which given its shape would make it about the same size or larger
Since idk what the largest ones are
Only that adults are at least 30 cm
sahona is longer regardless becauso of its neck but dollo should be big enough
I like to imagine for Dollocaris Nigel would just be baffled
“What in the world is that? That, my friend, is Dollocaris, one of the oddest members of the already odd thylacocephalians. Researchers are unsure just what this little guy and his relatives’re meant to be, but maybe you’ll be the one to find out.”
also i cannot say it here but dollocaris is very funny for what the slang term dollo means in dutch
in the most polite way it would mean ''cucumber shrimp''
Pleistocene Africa Expansion Pack:
Metridiochoerus
Syncerus Antiqqus
Rusingoryx
Hippo Gorgops
Dinofelis
Ancylotherium
Sivatherium
Deinotherium
Stegotetrabelodon
I thought you said Australopithecus and I was gonna say “…no”
The Australian Pithecus
😐😶
if people want an australopithicus zoo they should just buy rimworld
chapalmalania was much earlier, miocene to early pleistocene
same for Leptoptilos falconeri, it was pliocene
sorry i got confused ill adjust it
also we dont have any records of manis paleojavanica in the holocene iirc although not entirely impossible
decent picks, though
i remembered the dates wrong lol ill adjust that
thanks
giants dlc each is one of the largest if not the single largest of their group
its not even the biggest
its specifically the largest of its group
dont know the name
cowries
but i dont think that includes even all sea snails lol
yeah
cowries
ngl it makes it cooler also the spikes on the shell
i figured since i used 7 new models id use 1 very easy but interesting viv animal
big ass snail
extinct right the way you say this it sounds modern
also vicetia has a very unique shell shape
idc if it barely moves if it has shiny colours itll be cool af
it is
which
largest extant snail
is nearly 1 meter
and iirc its the largest ever including the fossil record
Syrinx aruanus, common name the Australian trumpet or false trumpet, is a species of extremely large sea snail measuring up to 75 cm long and weighing up to 18 kg. It is a marine gastropod mollusk in the family Turbinellidae, and is the only species in the genus Syrinx.
This is the largest extant snail (shelled gastropod) species in the world, ...
this goober
heres a good sense of scale
Late but this is a stupid reason for inclusion ngl
i feel the same way as when i found out there are freshwater jellyfish... even in the netherlands
By that metric we should have giraffatitan, citipati, and like half a dozen other species
Over what we already have
citipati? im not against it but oviraptor is complete enough
Ovi isn't that complete but Citipati has been the basis for it for like 30 years
i just looked at location and time period and i dont even think its worth having an argument about
ovi is just ever so complete enough to have an idea
Because its not worth it
You've kinda missed my point though
but just looking at location and the bones i feel like they might be the same genus (ofc im not looking into the specifics but i wouldnt be suprised if its a lion snow leopard case)
i get the point but i felt oviraptor wasnt the best example
Ovi is the perfect example
The fact that you can barely tell the difference when one has been the basis for reconstructions proves my point perfectly
looking at it seriously i get the impression of a taxonomic mess tbh
not what i meant
i meant there is enough skull material
although you could argue for a different shaped crest there was a crest of some sort
That’s kind of rude
but since a fossil was confused between the 2 if theres no impossible difference im putting my money on that they are the same genus
gobi desert brown bears are tinyyyyyy compared to most other brown bear subspecies for example
I was saying the reasoning was bad, if you wanna take that personally that's on you
i mean you couldve disagreed instead of calling it stupid i get both sides of the argument here i just think ovi is not the correct example for this situation
And I think you are wrong
and thats perfectly fine im just saying i can see how he took it personally
Also you don't need to ping on every response
alright
Knowing EZ realistically the pack would contain every extinct organism from the cenozoic
Smok would be cool. Interesting to see how the devs could take it reconstructions wise
Where'd you see that? 👀
I don't recall Alberta showing up in the roster at any point in the games development.
Because it's not in the game roster, it's in the post-release ideas list(and blurred so you know).
Ahhhh
I was thinking you were referencing like, pre-2020 roster stuff or something and I could not for the life of me remember if I'd seen it before or not
This doesn't really have anything to do with his comment
90% chance that is referring to the ark Gigantoraptor by the way
A simple vivarium species I would like is heath hen
this dude came back 2 days later with AI as a justification for his suggestion
Gigantoraptor isn't a bad suggestion per say but that way of suggesting it is
did vro get chatgpt to do the reasoning for him
“armor piercing peck” or whatever does have an AI ring to it, in retrospect
Right yeah because the plentiful gigantoraptor fossils provide evidence for this
Or maybe if you searched it up they’re close relatives sat ontop of nest to shield them from predators
Aswell as many theropods being aggressive during nesting season
Not ChatGPT clearly
Google ai isn't much better bromotherium 🥀
How
I’ll just make a new one if it makes you guys so angry then
That does not prove most of the stuff it said
Ok
BRUH
this doesn't tell us what your ai overview thing says it does
and again I am very confident that it is talking about the ark one
This game is a zoo management game, combat and hunting is a punishment for badly managing animals so people prefer suggestions based on the merit of the species instead of how it would potentially fight. Gigantoraptor is a great suggestion overall, just most people here aren't interested in the specifics of how it'd fight.
That's kind of why people reacted the way they did to your suggestion.
stupendemys and deinotherium where
ideally you never see combat outside of intraspecific combat
so
Yeah
Gigantoraptor
Behaviour- young gigantoraptor would stay with they’re parents foraging for food and interacting/socialising with others in its group, once its near fully grown they would leave they’re group and find another group similar in age for protection and a chance to find a mate.
Mating season behaviour- gigantoraptors will let out loud rumbling calls that would attract females and other competition, when trying to impress a female they would essentially “dance” waving around its feathers and stomping the ground to prove its strength, if another male tries to gain the females attention the other male would intimidate the other male through stomps, loud calls and trying to make themselves look bigger, if they don’t back down they would occasionally peck eachother till the weaker or smaller male would back down and leave.
Nesting behaviour- the gigantoraptor will leave its group to become hyper aggressive and would intimidate anything though bellows, stomps or false charges to anything comes near its young or nest, if they don’t back down they would attack the animal through pecks, kicks or stomps.
Diet- it would eat leaves, nuts, fruit, seeds, small animals like lizards, mammals etc or carrion if it gets the chance.
Is my new suggestion better
TBH, suggestions that ignore how the game works aren't really good ones
seems suspect
Yeah I think so 🙂
Thanks
is there any notable big extinct jellyfish for vivarium?
I have to imagine that jellyfish don’t really fossilize well
Alright I was wrong
There are Cambrian era jellyfish fossils
honestly bro
I think you should leave
if you’re going to use AI to make a suggestion
I think you should leave
What an incredibly rude comment
Yeah I think telling someone to leave is bloody ridiculous
You should be nicer to new users if you want the game to be more successful
no that was a dick move and I’m sorry
Although the point does stand that usage of AI-generated content here is less than ideal
Agreed with that
If we could get a prehistoric pinniped I’d be so very happy
Allodesmus? or Pontolis
Either or
May 27, Tuzoia burgessensis. An extinct genus of large bivalved arthropod from the Early-Middle Cambrian. With a carapace of 18cm, Tuzoia is one of the largest-known Cambrian arthropods. Scientists believe it may have been an actively-swimming organism that was either a predator or a scavenger, and believe it likely walked along the seafloor to move. Though not the most notable Cambrian species out there, it would be a nice secondary species for Cambrian representation.
Forbidden taco
imagine what a Cambrian seafood buffet would be like
Lots of lobster tails
"Red Anomalocaris" doesn't really have much of a ring to it.
that would be Amplectobelua if anything
imagine cooking a 1m ediacaran dickinsonia
meat pancake
yim yum
cooked sea scorpion 🤤
thats a village sized meal
Fairly complete animal either way, even if its identity is a mystery
fossil-wise or something, idfk
Mike, the fossils we've got of Smok so far as of this year!
(extremely "Will Spinosaurus mirabilis be in PK?" voice) Will Plumadraco bankoorum be in PK?
How accurate is this roster to that was shown so far for the RE Animal DLC?
- Bos latifrons/priscus/antiquus
- Dinornis novaezealandiae/robustus
- Equus quagga/ferus
- Pinguinus impennis
- Raphus cucullatus
- Thylacinus cynocephalus
- Conuropsis carolinensis (Vivarium)
- Ectopistes migratorius (Vivarium)
I don't know that we'll get that many alts for Bos but the rest looks right to me
Would be sweet though
We're so close to having a realistic mammoth steppe I can almost smell it
A DLC dedicated to the La Brea Tar Pits would be an absolute dream come true 😍
Facts
However, I don't know of any animals in La Brea that could work as Vivarium species lol
notable ones probably not but la brea contains nearly anything that was alive in that area at that time
True true, so I can imagine the DLC only containing habitat animals then
a smaller hesperoteudesto
juvenile tar shark
ect
Tar shark?
I'm listening
Here's my personal selection of La Brea animals
- Aenocyon dirus
- Camelops hesternus
- Capromeryx furcifer
- Euceratherium collinum
- Homotherium serum
- Mammuthus columbi
- Miracinonyx trumani
- Nothrotheriops shastensis
- Platygonus compressus
Neat
nice
i think it doesnt count as new species but a broken jaw skin for allo from dinosaur revolution would be cool
I would love to see some Alaskan animals represented at some point as a dedicated DLC as well;
- Alaskacephale gangloffi
- Desmostylus hesperus
- Dromaeosaurus albertensis
- Hydrodamalis gigas
- Nanuqsaurus hoglundi
- Ounalashkastylus tomidai
- Phalacrocorax perspicillatus
son 😭
Of course problem has to be nanuq and not second desmostylian known from mandible or asian bird not from alaska 🗿
i dont do mammals or birds tbf
that’s where the cool
Stuff is imo
mammalia might be the worst group of animals
🤨
at least among vertebrates
Mammals are so good at their job some members of our clade need to switch to reptile side out of pity 😔
nah, mammals are just not that interesting to me
some are cool but most are just mid
I think vro hasn't been paying attention
paying attention to what lol
hmmm
honestly I just wanna make a section in my zoo along the lines of the theme “Icy places before the Ice Age” and I’ve been meaning to find some sort of terrarium animal to go with and it has been so hard because believe it or not all basically reptiles and amphibians cannot live in cold temperatures and all the mammals from these formations are the size of dormice. Anyway cut to the chase Aurorachelys even tho I could gaf less about this animals but it’s cool and I could use it as like background
If you think any animal is "mid" you're doing it wrong
truing
"XYZ animal is mid because I don't like them" -cringe ass take
"Nature as a whole is incredible and there is something to be appreciated in every organism, not just on its own, but especially in the context of the ecosystem of which it is a part and the conditions that led it to evolve as it did" -the based, correct take
I think reptiles are a more interesting group overall but mammals are still cool
Yeah, nothing wrong with a preference
But that doesn't make the other groups mid or less deserving of appreciation
also 100% if some animals we have today were extinct the same people calling them "mid" would be in agreement that they're weird freaks
imagine we had no living whales, elephants or giraffes and we dug one up
I am much more of a reptile girlie, mammals have never been my favorite group, but I still think they're cool in their own way
Whales are some of the craziest shit vertebrates have ever produced honestly
If they were extinct people would go nuts for them
they're already some of my favourite animals
favourite mammal is the Cachalot its really cool
Because like. What the fuck. What do you mean the weird pig aardvark thing became a giant torpedo that sees with sound and has some of the most complex social behavior among the entire animal kingdom
I wonder how much bizarre stuff similar animals like ichthyosaurs did that just doesn't fossilise
Probably a decent amount
Like, shit, we're still learning a lot about sociality and behavior in extant reptiles/animals in general
People are just now figuring out that blue tongued skinks take care of their young for a period
helps that the intelligence of reptiles has been overlooked until recently
reptiles have been criminally understudied and underestimated for essentially the entirey of animals sciences history
I fucking love giraffes, what a bunch of bloody weirdos. The fact they look so gangly makes them cooler than sauropods to me.
They're both interesting in their own ways yeah
Seeing a giraffe scratches a different itch to sauropods for me
they do similar things in an incredibly different way
giraffes are hella cool the way they deal with blood circulation is really interesting
nature found to be fascinating
Iirc the military has studied them for use in fighter plane pilot suits, so the pilots don't have blood pooling in their legs at high speeds
Which like. If that's not cool as fuck idk what is
Lmfao
The further I go with my education and the more I do actual scientific research, the more I come to loathe the way some people think about animals
worst thing for an animal is someone thinking its mid or boring
thats how they go silently extinct
Like I'm out there looking at a buncha tiny amphipods and such and I'm overcome by the sheer beauty of nature
Nobody ever talks about plankton but there's some crazy cool shit going on there
The way most people don't think of insects as animals annoys me
I don't know my invertebrates that well which is a me problem
Most isopods living in the continental US today are invasive, and there are untold numbers of tiny decomposers that have gone extinct or have become endangered due to them
I feel like people just want to feel less bad about stepping on them
Not to mention your bog standard earthworms aren't native here either
so I've heard
Nature has thousands of wonderful stories to tell for those with the ears to listen
this is your daily tropicola PSA. Remember to like and subscribe for more good nature takes
We need Macrauchenia and Sivatherium to help fill out the mid mammals niche
Desmostylus and Steller’s sea cow deserve better than to be used as filler for an Alaskan DLC. Also, Dromaeosaurus proper is Canadian, we only suppose that the Prince Creek dromie might belong to the genus
May 29, Skorpiovenator bustingorryi. One of the most complete abelisaurids discovered, Skorpiovenator lived in the Late Cretaceous in the Huincul Formation of Argentina.
The Rio Limay abelisaurs are quite cool
I cant wait for beelzebufo to appear one day
It’s such an easy choice to arrive with the Wetlands update that I almost can’t believe it won’t happen
But I feel the same way about the big bugs
was it really that big or is that just a size exaggeration
probably an exagerration
length is probably about accurate but it looks obese
the closest modern size analaogue is approximately the chilean giant frog
Calyptocephalella is a genus of frogs in the family Calyptocephalellidae. It is represented by a single living species, Calyptocephalella gayi, commonly known as the helmeted water toad, Chilean helmeted bull frog, or wide-mouthed toad. Additionally, there are a few extinct species that are only known from Late Cretaceous and Paleogene fossil re...
it's a lovely frog and i very much want it ingame. it's just not as big as people tend to think it is
Probably the only frog PK can ever have
Unless that Eocene monster turns up more, diagnostic remains
There's certainly other prehistoric frogs but none of them are remotely worth it, Beelzebufo isn't a priority for me at all but I wouldn't mind it either.
there are better amphibians
Well yeah, but I actually don't think it occupies the same real estate as them in terms of choices.
most of them are not at all frog-like.
Adding on to my previous Enantiornithes suggestions, here's plumadraco
Carolina Parakeets would be a cool recently extinct vivarium species, especially if they give both of the subspecies
I'm 90% sure it was confirmed for a recently extinct dlc if the game sells well
i'll buy every copy if i have to
That’d be sweet
I did a bit of research on the Carolina parakeet recently and now I'm sad that they went extinct before I even existed
Passenger pigeons and other recently extinct birds would be amazing
Boy do I have good news for you
Passenger pigeon was also confirmed for the dlc along with the moa (possibly 2 species)
???
2 moas arent confirmed
passenger pigeon is confirmed
not confirmed but speculated based on the blurry list
Oh
just the genus dinornis is
it could technically be both species
but all thats officially confirmed is just the genus
Hear me out: Diabloceratops and Giganotosaurus
Hear me out too: Acinonyx Pleistocaenicus
Should also add my favourite spinosaurus sub species: mirabilis
mirabilis is a species not a subspecies
Oh. Im stupid mb
but still its a pretty cool species
btw subspecies is only denoted by the 3rd name, if there is one present. The first name is always genus and the second name is species
Example: Panthera tigris = species. Panthera tigris sondaica = subspecies
Hear me out: Giraffititan and Kentrosaurus
I want to be heared out: Polacanthus and Concavenator
OOOH aight aight
Continue shouting PEAK
we gotta get the mirabilis i know i said it before but MAN its peak
Meh
It's neat
But I wouldn't really say it's peak by any means
Certainly not above aegypticus
Hell yeah
We also gotta add the potato diabloceratops man
Diabloceratops is a pretty cool addition but man, the fourth centrosaurine and still no signs of a nodosaurid in the horizon hurts
I know Edmontonia is speculated but I need to see it with my own two eyes
Chasmosaurus is my most wanted ceratopsid (after other clades are filled out a bit more)
Chasmosaurus or Pentaceratops to help balance out the big-frilled brow-horned side of the family
Penta's a good shout too. I think my reasoning for Chasmosaurus over others is that it's a chamosaur on the smaller side which balances out Triceratops.
Also Dinosaur Park rep my beloved
We gotta have kosmocerstops, chasmoceratops, diabloceratops as new ceratopsians
What about Old good: Einiosaurus, Centrosaurus??
Centrosaurus probably isn't needed but I'll admit I'd like it just because I think Dinosaur Park is a really cool formation
idk much about Einiosaurus though
centrosaurus would be a good shout in an alt DLC
giraffatitan, centrosaurus, protoceratops h, spinosaurus s, etc
What do you think of Majungasaurus EZ
It is Neat
Imo never really liked it
In-between Styraco and Pachyrhino
We NEED THEM
i think carnotautus + majungasaurus with a rajasaurus alt would be a perfect abelisaurid lineup, rugops or skorpiovenator would be nice extras tho
the enflattening evolution
Micrauchenia, Xenorhinotherium, Theosodon would Fit in Prehistoric Kingdom?
We gotta have utahraptor in this
i don't doubt we will
