I went the route of IKEA’s glass cabinets (they have glass doors that can be locked). They come with shelves so that you can display a few sets. It works for me since I don’t have that many.

I don’t think it does. So the IKEA single Fabrikor fits Barad Dur (I’ve seen Reddit pics). The IKEA fabrikor (full size) fits Barad Dur and smaller stuff. Let me take some pics for you when I get home.

Cabinet is very tall and wide. Like I mentioned though, you can get a fabrikor that is half the width, but the same height so that Barad Dur still fits (that is the only thing you’ll be able to put in there though).

Love this idea! Treebeard is greyer in the movie but if that doesn’t matter to you, then I’d say go for it if you have the two minifigs. I would get it only if I had the minifigs.

putting theme bias to one side, if you look at how much more detail sherlock holmes gets for the same price, balrog booknook is slightly larger but the balrog really does not look good without the MOC upgrade imo. I wouldn't recommend the balrog booknook at full price for that reason

that being said I have seen lots of ebay listings for 80-90$ used or you can get one on amazon for ~100$, I would still consider that a better offer than the full retail price

@mild otter I called LEGO support. They are refunding my money (may take a few days) and I'll have to order the set again. I never got any kind of confirmation or even an order number. Grond is still available. I'm considering just buying the set online today so that I get Grond and praying it works this time. I doubt my local store will still have Minas Tirith in stock with the GWP.
