Why not you go shame on the actual bad minifigures? I'm getting a little fed up that most of you aren't satisfied.

We got the Shadow head criticized but i can actually see why but Metal Sonic? his torso printing saves him from being bland but it could've been worse.

Do y'all think Lego should make like "team packs"?

For example one set comes with Shadow, Rouge and Omega and some other build, one comes with Sonic, Tails and Knuckles and some other build (maybe Tails can have a swappable spinning tail piece for this one), and one with Amy, Cream and Big and some other build-
Or even one with Eggman, Metal Sonic, Sage, Orbot and Cubot? (Or just Eggman, Orbot and Cubot-)

That would be great, but I think to get the most profit they split up desirable characters somewhat. If the main 3 were released in one set, that's all really the kids want, the minifigs of the characters. The other sets would just sit on the shelves and not sell. Sega themselves probably overlook all the sets before release and can change things, it's their IP after all.

To get the main 3 you need to buy at least 2 sets

And even then, facial expressions are a thing, some kids are very picky in that regard, I know I was

The movies kind of overshadow the mainline franchise, at least they don't treat them as the main design choice for Sega unlike Rovio, Eggman (or what the films call him Robotnik) is not really that faithful and if you somehow had a time machine and go back to 1991-1999 and show it to a Sonic fan, they would not recognize that adaptation as Eggman.

You can say I'm missing out but i love not having TV crap in my way as much, would somebody who doesn't know the games mistake the films as the original Sonic trilogy?

but I think the movies kinda just are better in some ways imo and is one of the reasons why I think they deserve Lego sets

Sure they look a little different, but I think that's to their benefit, as I prefer these designs in many aspects compared to their game designs

and the movies are just fantastic

Knuckles was kinda the worst of it but I wouldn't say it was that bad or as bad as some had made it out to be or as bad as some... lesser sonic games

You know it would definitely suck if any of you were like Dleo because he lives in a certain country where most Lego stuff is expensive so he can't get any of the official Sonic sets, only bootleg minifigures.

(I'm doing my best to respect people who actually likes bootlegs because i still have a dislike to them for having faulty prints usually)

The only true point of Sonic bootleg figures is that they have characters you could get that Lego will probably never make like Sticks, Jet, Storm, etc.

(I will be forever haunted by the fact that Free Riders killed the Sonic Riders franchise, all because of mandatory motion controls, flanderizations and Jet apparently sounding like a little kid)

A quick mod for the metal sonic fig is to swap the metal hands for yellow hands to look more accurate

I’ve grown on the metal sonic fig and I actually think it looks better than the dimensions version

I get why people might've wanted Metal Sonic to have a different body than Sonic, because it was like that in Lego Dimensions

however I don't really see it as nessesary as Metal Sonic in game is supposed to be a robotic copy of Sonic, and thus have the same, if not, a very similar body type to Sonic

so it wouldn't make sense to give him a new body mold

or atleast one different to the one Sonic's using

“I think it’s an awesome set and the guns on his back shoot purple spheres. Which is a neat callback to his purple sphere attack in the original game.

The limbs aren’t very poseable though but the original Biolizard was not very athletic or mobile (especially since his hind legs are more or less vestigial flippers) so it fits with the original.

Also gonna see if I can make the Arms Biolizard from shadow generations too.

Agreed. The fact that we don't even have any Chao minifigs yet is kinda surprising. They could probably repurpose the small fig body from Dreamzzz (like they're doing for Lilo's doll in the Lilo & Stitch house) for the Chao.

A Chao Garden could also be the perfect set to include a figure of Cream the Rabbit.

Also here is my Lego Sonic shelf as of right now. Finally getting things set back up after taking down Christmas decorations. I need to get another Tails minifig to put in the Tornado plane.

many people like the Chao and want to see them in more games and other things

but they haven't been featured too often in modern games like Sonic X Shadow Generations

Movies get advertised better because they would appear on multiple channels not just something like Cartoon Network or Nick.

The thing is i barely watch TV thanks to my separation from it ever since 2017.

I always liked the Classic game trilogy and i will still do but it honestly kind of pisses me off that the movies are seemlying taking their place in terms of popularity.

And then another set with rouge, shadow and omega with the enemy being mephiles with his own figure and maybe the mephiles clones can be more mephiles figures or purple transparent bricks with a mephiles print on it, the shadow figure would have no inhibitor rings printed and the play feature being a speed sphere to be like the chaos blast dash thing he does. Knocking over mephiles and his clones.

And lastly, a set with Solaris including super sonic, super shadow and a new exclusive super silver, with a large Solaris build and some play features along with the set.

The first one would be called Station Square Hotels, and would feature the first area of station square you go to in the game, as well as the Train Station, the Hotel with the Beach, and Twinkle Park

the second one would be called Station Square Speed Highway, and would contain the second main area that has the entrance to the sewers with a car on top as well as the area where Sonic fights Chaos 0 and where Knuckles enters Speed Highway

and the third and final one would be Station Square Casino, and it would be the area where you go to Casinopolis in

They would each contain some secrets and bonuses referencing Sonic's past

and the minifigures that would be included would gain exclusive prints that are made to replicate their looks in Adventure 1, including upgrade variants for some of them

Here are some of my reccomendations for the Shadow build, if possible

consider using those Mech Limb pieces from cheaper sets or parts similar to that for the elbows and knees

that way you can achieve a good bend to those elements without adding hinge or ball joints, and thus breaking the sculpt

and maybe try and aim for the scale of the newer Superhero constraction figures, or something similar, that way you have a basis to use if you ever decide to make a Maria and Gerald for Shadow

Since in recent times Lego has started to make new head moulds (Sonic, AC) and new minifig bodies and legs (Dr. Eggman Robotnik, Avatar Naavi, Marvel, etc. ) i think there's a very good chance that they'd do so in order to introduce other Sonic characters. I reckon Vector or Cream are itching to be made next!! Also since they're animals, Lego always has a tendency to favour animals and animal-related themes so I'd say there's a very good chance of them expanding the Sonic theme. They just have to decide where to go on it, either follow the games or the tv series🦔🎮📺
