so my question is why did this happen

You changed the password for the account on device #1, when you logged into that account from device #2 afterwards it needed the new password as your earlier actions invalidated the previous password.

App Commands you don't have permissions to use via this system won't appear, bare in mind tho that Stable Android doesn't support this, and those with Admin Permission or is Server Owner bypass this

On Desktop/browser, you can click-and-drag a channel to re-order them
On Mobile, go into Server Settings > Channels > Reorder (if on iOS or Beta/Alpha Android, can't remember what it is on old/stable Android)
You will need the Manage Channels Permission to re-arrange them tho

You know how it says if you set a channel as the rules channel it will put people at the top of it? Is there something I gotta do to make that happen because I never jump to the top of a rules channel and none of the members in my server seem to be doing that either

You can turn on thisDisplay seperately toggle in the roles section for one role they have and It will hoist them based on the role order.

It says in the community thing that if you select a rules channel when people go to it, it will start them at the top of the channel (so they can see rule #1) but it's not doing that for me

You mean like, azerty or dvorak or something? You could just move the keys. The scancodes are the same regardless of layout, and you set the mapping in the OS, so literally all that's left is moving the keys. It's a pretty standard 104 ANSI layout. I guess it'd mess up the mute/deafen buttons if your layout moves d and m away from where they exist on qwerty, but that's about it

I'm in a server I never joined and I'm sure I never got hacked since I have 2FA and there are no emails telling someone logged in.
The only thing I remember is accidentally being an idiot and clicked a "free boost" link that invited a bot into my server and made me join a server. I left the server after I saw im on it

Note: I am sure that no apps made me join it since it is all from official and trusted bots like MEE6 etc.

Remove the Bot from the Authorised Apps section in your profile

If you're trying to screenshare your whole screen (rather than a specific program), then Discord won't capture any audio.

That is not how that works, Discord tests bots extensively before verifying them, the bot's token was likely leaked leading to it getting turned into a scam bot.

Could i ask how to make certain role permissions overwrite others?

I have opt in nsfw channels on my server, which you can only see if you are an admin, or have a ''show nsfw channels'' role.
i made sure to select on the category and each channel that people with roles saying their age is under 18 cannot view or send messages in the channel. However it seems that if people with these roles equip the ''show nsfw channels'' role, they can still see these channels.
obviously i dont want this.

i had assumed from what ive heard that simply putting the age roles higher than the nsfw role would overwrite this permission and make sure minors cant get into the nsfw servers. But this didnt seem to do anything. Could anybody help me out?

You have a couple options:
1: Tell your reaction roles bot to "not grant to people with these roles"
2: Manually remove/kick/ban when you see it
3: Not care, the channels have an age gated warning already and you've also gone through the extra step of hiding them as well, their fault for going through everything (and if they wanted to they could just remove their minor role and view it anyways)

Yep. Your best bet is to try and remember the old password. Try looking through all of your devices and check any documents and notes you might have (including physical ones). If you check the date your account was created, try to think of any activities you liked then, or any hobbies and interests you had as this might have an influence on what password you picked back then

Your only chance of recovering anything is remembering your password to view your backup codes.

repl.it is shared hosting, so you're also sharing rate limits with everyone else on the same IP. More importantly, you'll share an IP ban if someone decides to be abusive on the IP you share. repl.it is ok for testing, I suppose, but you should really not consider it a production solution

- Alternatively use serverless architecture, but this is more advanced
Option 3: Wait to see if the CF ban expires. I think these last 24 hours on average, but are possibly permanent for the IP

I’ve never used repl.it. Things that are free will always have their catches and flaws. The first VPS I used was google cloud, as they offered a free trial, and then I moved to OVH. OVH is very cheap and reliable. I pay less than $20 a month and I’m even covered from DDoS

Friend of mine fell for a hack and got his account stolen, with his credentials changed. He wasn’t able to reset or gain access to his account, and forgot his 2FA codes. He made tickets to discord, but they kept declining his request to remove 2FA on the account.

Though after 2 months of back and fourth responses to and from discord, they finally disabled 2FA for him and he got his account back.

Don’t give up, Cyan. Maybe all it’ll take is the right employee to see your plea. Of course it helps to have all the info and ID necessary to prove account ownership.
