Guys I need help. Basically someone hacked my account 2 months ago which also resulted in my personal email getting deleted.

This person now has been impersonating me and pretending to be me. Discord support won’t do anything about it because I am not contacting them from the original email of the account.

Hey! Discord requires a valid payment method even for free promotions to verify the account and set up recurring billing (which you can cancel immediately after activating). Since you don't have a card, you could try using a student bank card (if your country/bank allows it from 15+) or linking a PayPal account with a small balance. Whatever you do, never give your token or password to anyone offering to activate it for you!

You are totally right, Discord actually has a hard limit of 50 active bot integrations per server. If your server hits this cap of 50, you can still technically add a new bot, but its slash commands and app settings will completely fail to show up or work in the server's Integrations directory.

To control and fix this:

1. Go to Server Settings > Integrations.
2. Look through your active bots and remove/kick the old, unused ones to get below the 50-bot limit.
3. Once you are under the cap, the new bot integrations and their slash commands will start working properly!

Level 3 increases things like the emoji limit, audio quality, custom invite links, and file upload limits, but the 50 active bot integration limit is a global hard cap set by Discord for API performance and security...

I’ve had a lot of random bots joins recently who friend request members as soon as they join. My members are kinda getting annoyed with it and I’m unsure how to tackle it.

A user who had legitimate administrative rights intentionally misused their permissions and proceeded to mass ban all members of the server and disrupt its structure. This action was not accidental or part of normal moderation duties, but a deliberate attempt to destroy the community.

This behavior violates Discord’s Terms of Service, especially regarding:

Abuse of Services
Misuse of administrative or moderation permissions
Disruption and sabotage of communities

The server has been severely damaged as a result, with all members banned and normal operation no longer possible.

Question for anyone using Discord on Linux, since the newest updates that were announced the other day.

I'm using Linux Mint, which is still X11-based, not Wayland. I'm seeing Discord just constantly opening Sockets to X11, roughly 10 per hour.... forever. I'm up to over 300 X11 socket connections right now, and eventually it was exhausting Socket connections and preventing new ones.

I upped my socket limit to 2048 to mitigate it locking me out but.... two questions, anyone else seeing massive socket issues with the New Linux Client changes, and has this been mentioned/tracked or has Discord Dev mentioned it at all?

if you just see the response you say "Ah a bot, let's ignore.." and dodge the response, then you will not get any help
