Go into your settings and search for "vibration intensity." For system vibrations, set that to completely off.
This'll eliminate the haptic feedback from Discord... alongside everywhere else that uses it

I'm on PC using the desktop app; My ping sound has stopped working all of a sudden when I started up my PC. Every other sound is working (mute/unmute, join/leave call, etc.). I didn't change any settings.

Troubleshooting I've done:

• Restarted Discord
• Restarted PC
• Double checked that I'm not on DND
• Double checked I have the ping sound enabled
• Double checked I'm not in streamer mode

If it makes any difference I use Steelseries Sonar to manage my audio, but since every other sound in discord seems to be working I don't see how that'd be an issue

the token is stored in your browser/desktop app, it can be used to log into your device from anywhere without needing a password/email access, it also completely bypasses 2FA. it can be stolen from you if you run an untrusted program on your device.

changing your password should kill all previously existing tokens that could have been stolen, so it's good that you've done that

yeah. basically they use discord to spread the malware, stealing discord accounts is not the "primary" goal of the hackers, they are after your social media/websites/messengers/video game accounts

it's unlikely that your phone is the device that got hacked, so i recommend changing all of your passwords using your phone

As of today I'm having an issue where I can't hear anything from other users. They can hear me. I have confirmed with them in dms that they are talking and able to hear each other and not me.

I have not changed my audio device and I confirmed it's still on the correct one. I have not changed my audio balance and double checked its set properly.

I joined a Discord server, were there was 'Security' bot. I did verification with this app/bot, but this verification wanted me to login. Foolishly, I pressed the log in button. Here is what it said there:
Log in on a new device.
Clicking 'Log in' will log your account into another device. Never accept remote logins that you did not initiate.
Very stupidly, I had a private discord server, which I was basically using as a password manager and even had recovery phrases for some of my crypto wallets. Luckily, I was able to transfer the funds from the potentionally compromised wallets to new wallet. I signed out from every device and changed my passwords. My question is, was this a phishing attempt and could the attacker have access to all of my messages, or I am just worried about nothing?

Definitely not worried about nothing, but the best thing you can do is to not join servers that have any kind of verification like that, and not to use discord as a password manager

yo so the hacker probably gifted nitro to your account using stolen payment info — that's why you have the features but no subscription showing. gifted nitro shows as credits, not a sub, so it won't auto-charge you when it expires, it'll just go away on its own

but to be safe:

• check Settings → Subscriptions for a "Nitro Credit" section with an expiry date
• check Settings → Billing to make sure no rogue payment method was added
• check your bank for any Discord charges you didn't make
• also log out all sessions in Settings → Devices just in case
