A few days ago, I scanned a QR code, and shortly after, I received a violation notice from Discord saying I broke the rules. Then my account got logged out and disabled, and I haven’t been able to log back in since.

I tried submitting support tickets to appeal, but each ticket is automatically marked as solved without anyone reviewing my case. Discord keeps telling me to appeal through the app, but I cannot access my account, so I can’t do that.

I think my account may have been compromised after scanning the QR code, and any violation that happened was not intentional. This account is very important for my work and has servers and data I need.

Right now, I’m trying to get a human support agent at Discord to manually review my case and restore access, because the automated system keeps ignoring me.

Your get access to them someday whenever discord decides to delete the hold out group and move orbs completely out of the experiment phase.

Not on role, on CHANNELS. Because if you’re telling me they’re "locked", I suppose it means there is a "lock" on them, so you override permissions with something. So you have to give them the permission on those channels you have "locked"

If it's "locked" as you say, it means you override the permission and the permission on the channel is different, so it means you have to change the permission on the channel.

It depends on how you set up the permission on the channel. If you touched the "default/everyone" permission, you will have to give them permission. If it's a role, then it's easier.

From my understanding, they have 50 "locked" (for whatever it means, but I suppose there's a lock on them) and they expected by creating a role and give them connect permission (on the role) they will suddenly have access to the 50 "locked" channels.
I don't understand the permission they have on those channels, but they probably changed default, so they have to override all of them..

Well that's confusing. However permissions are fairly easy to understand. Just following the red - deny, green - approve take over with channel specific permissions, gray is always let the role decide if permissions are granted.

Which allows so and so to suddenly access 50 channels if they set it to green for a certain role to view channel or connect.

Highest role permissions a user has takes priority with permissions so role A with none if all channels are set to gray will see if role B has permissions. So mute role for instance could deny speaking if none of the roles are given express permission channel wide

It's confusing, they should probably have a doc for that, probably do

Reporting messages is still done in app, should've been reported before deletion and if you don't have access to those messages to report then it's not possible to report.

If they see it, they would report it but that entirely depends on who runs the accounts that harass you. From my experience it's usually multiple alts, multiple proxies. Most normal people don't go out of their way to harass someone. then you have kids who find it funny to follow in the footsteps because you make a reaction then yeah cycle continues.

Anyway you can still report the messages in app if you got one to report, retention is usually there to allow for trust and safety

Your friend joining a server wouldn't magically compromise your account, something you did on your machine like running something malicious or falling for a scam which you changed your email to a scammers one would lead to that. Not by some joining of a server or friend doing so

As for the server, not much you can do. If they deleted the server it's gone. If they banned you, they'd have to unban you.

if it was removed by discord then the server owner will have a violation in their account standing they can try appealing

I mean, ownership was given to him so that the person whose account was hacked, who was the previous owner, wouldn't have the hackers get into the server and start deleting it. But the new owner does not say he is guilty, yet for some reason the server does not appear.
