After what feels like an eternity I stumbled here. I'm at loss of words at just how useless the official discord requests site is. For days I have been trying to contact them in hopes of reaching a human, which I did not.

If anyone can help me please, I want to make an appeal to an action taken on my account after it being compromised, however when I press the link to appeal my request it sends me back to the appeal section but after I send in the form Clyde just hits me back with "My Account > Status > select the violation you want to appeal > “Let us know” Which I did a disturbing amounts of times and it never worked...

The system is flawed and it failed me numerous times, that's why I came here in hopes of at least getting in touch with an actual human being in discord's team

Clyde specifically tells me to make an appeal through in app appealing and we already know how it ends up. Hell, he literally says***" To have your appeal reviewed, it is necessary to submit it within the Discord app, which allows us to review the appeal faster and with appropriate context."*** while doing the very thing he told me to do

For 10 days straight my account is still marked as "Heavily Restricted", all my DMs are greyed out and I don't get any notifications about new messages at all.

try replying to the solved ticket, that will reopen it and give you a chance to get a response from a real human. Stick with the same ticket; opening multiple ones usually won’t speed things up and can even get overlooked. It might take some time to hear back, but just keep at it!

yeah, that’s correct, the only real way to resolve this is to contact them directly. In the meantime, you could try a few troubleshooting steps like reinstalling Discord, using a different browser, clearing your cache, or toggling the server tag off and on to see if that helps

try replying to the existing ticket, even if it’s marked as solved, it can still be reviewed by a human. The ‘solved’ status is usually just an automated closure from bots like Clyde, so don’t worry too much about that. you’ll see a lot of people mention the same thing on Reddit too.

Hello everyone. I've been using this account since 2017. It had an ownership to many servers including my Youtube channel's server (contains 500+ members). Not to mention my all conversations, friends were there.
I'm not sure why my account was hacked. I suspected the MuMu Player (Android emulator) I’ve been using for the past two weeks. I uninstalled it immediately and unlink from my google account. My Instagram and LinkedIn accounts were also compromised. I managed to recover my Instagram account, but I still can’t log in to LinkedIn. After these incidents, I changed all my email and social media passwords and enabled two-factor authentication for all of them. I cleared all cookies and ran a virus scan on my computer. To be honest, I’ve been paranoid for the past two days.
My hacked account sent “Mr. Beast” images to my friends. I logged into my server using an account I created in 2024 and proved to my friends that it was me. Even though the server admins gave me the highest possible permissions, no one has full access to the server anymore. It’s highly likely there’s no real person behind the hacked account, but continuing to use the server like this isn’t healthy.
I submitted a ticket to Discord Support, but I’m not very hopeful. And this paranoia is killing me. I wanted to vent to you more than seek a solution here because I know there are many people suffering from this situation. The only solution that comes to my mind is create a new server, ban all the members in the old server and leave no one there except my hacked account. If you have any ideas or suggestions, feel free to tell.

People do bad things to get badges, from account buying and hacking to other malicious activities... they might as well be removed... and then there's the legacy system. Some weren't old enough or didn't necessarily have the time, and Discord didn't exactly thank them!

For example, the number of partner servers I see, while mine, which is more serious than most, hasn't been approved, is a bit disheartening. :/ Like right now, the studio of a fairly well-known anime contacted me to take steps to get a server certified under my supervision, but I think it will be rejected...

This is one of the reasons why people are gradually leaving Discord, I feel... between the support being 90% AI and robotic (okay, we save time and money on questions like "how to become a bug hunter," but sometimes you need to be human).

Then the community aspect and fairness in moderation became nonexistent... with every post on a network like Instagram, for example, people aren't interested in the post itself and mock it by pointing out something else wrong.
It's the whole problem, it's a shame for Discord; after 10 years, I'm completely lost... I use it because everyone's on it and I've gotten used to it... but in itself, nothing prevents me from staying, right?

What worries me is that serious servers like mine couldn't accepted, while others that cheated or were "bad" were accepted. Closing the program is understandable to limit abuse, but as a result, it no longer highlights good servers.

Personally, I've had some frustrating experiences: losing my developer badge after a team change (you refused to reinstate it even though we worked hard for three years on our bot), contributing to Nitro for four years without recognition because a false report about my age caused me to lose my badges and accumulate them despite an acknowledged error on your part. No matter how much time I take, how polite and courteous I am, and how correctly I follow the procedures, support remains cold and unsympathetic, unwilling to reimburse what I've lost!

I quickly stopped paying for Nitro and stopped investing in my server with boosts, for example!

Or, I lost an account even though I had the early supporter badge and access to the Hypesquad event, for example. It's frustrating, even if it's understandable that you can't reimburse it if you don't have account data three years later. Perhaps some exceptional gestures could be made...

I think Discord would benefit from being more responsive to the community, conducting genuine surveys, and allowing for exceptions to recognize dedicated servers or users.

Even if the program no longer exists, an exceptional gesture like certifying or adding the partner for good servers would be appreciated, much like Twitch sometimes does for its creators. A more accessible or different badge to reward "visual without advantages" of the servers would be a real thank you to the community and the Staff!
