Well the thing is, my acc got suspended (i am using my family member's acc to seek support) for a false positive on an image. After sending that image a message came from discord itself that I had violated for child safety. I was confused as the image looked completely normal so I filed for an appeal and they emailed me that my violation had been removed only to find a minute later that my account had been suspended for the same reason that they had cleared my violation. So, when I sent an appeal regarding this issue they replied via their bot on the support page to file a ticket using the app and marked ticket as solved but I physically can't get past account suspended screen to file the help ticket

Sounds like Discord support right there.. i have the same issue, getting through after my email provider changed it's ways and im unable to access my registered email. Left only with my main computer logged into discord, and the others logged out - and with no way back if this one logs out aswell. No help to get anywhere, even though i've been a paying discord user since day 0 - They do not care about helping with these things. Not sure, but something tells me that they actually make money on people getting locked out - and their paypal or credit card keeps paying for a locked account.

my computer was hacked two days ago giving access them access to my email and my discord, from what i've learned is that he used some kind of token stealer to compromise my accounts and change the recovery information.
i was able to recover my email address, but when i tried going through the steps of recovering my discord, i hit a dead-end. i believe the hacker was able to create a support account in my name, because when trying to login im hit with a 2fa passcode check (which i dont have access to)

i'm at a loss for what to do, despite the many reports from my friends hes still using my account to run the same scam on others, i have no other way of contacting anyone who can help. if recovery is impossible i just need him to be banned so he doesnt create any more victims.

I've dealt with alt accounts alot, I don't see the problem, I mean it's obv if the person is an alt or not if you've spoken to them at all. Otherwise they'll just get banned for a similar reason. And sure it prevents alt accounts but double counter was/is known for taking peoples IPs. Y'all didn't do a good enough research or keep up to date with the bots you had you just rolled with it and said "it'll work out". I'm in 50+ major servers none have verification bots you know why, cause they don't care. It's just a back and fourth.

Too much work for little reward, it's only a big deal if you make it a big deal otherwise just let them join they'll just get banned eventually. And saves you from getting your ip stolen.

You can't unfortunately as soon as the email is hacked there is no other option for you as you need to submit a ticket using that email.

It's a tough pill to swallow but Discord have made it clear we're responsible in keeping our accounts safe, if we somehow get our account compromised in any way Discord might not be able to recover it.

And in your case it's unrecoverable. You can't even create a ticket at all.

I wanted to log into the Discord app using the Opera browser I just installed. I clicked where it said to log in from the browser, and it asked me for my username. I entered my account name, and it asked me to verify my phone number. I did the phone verification, but it also asked for my email address, which I couldn't do. Anyway, when I tried to log into my account from another browser, it asked me for phone verification, and when I entered the phone number registered to that account, it said I think there's a problem. I can't use phone numbers or remove them. I had to register my father's phone number to this account. Can you help me, please?

This is a Windows feature and happens when you're streaming (screen sharing). You can disable it via Windows settings -> Privacy & security -> App permissions -> Screenshot borders -> "Let desktop apps turn off the screenshot border"

We have sent the picture with his ID, face, and username to discord and k-ID but get told that neither can resolve this issue…
does anyone know what we can do to get his account back??

to change the email tied to a Discord account you need to have access to both the old one and the new one, can't do it otherwise, so you'd have to regain access to the old one first

no, the moment he sends in a request he gets automodded by clyde telling him to go through k-ID if hes having a hard time, and the support team has no further inquiry at the moment

then k-ID tells him to go through discord support and try to appeal again, which then sends the same message
