Hello! A mod of one of my servers was randomly removed from the server(not a bot, nor anything else, logs just say they left) and when they try to rejoin it says they’re banned. Anyone happen to know if this is a bug? They swear they have no alts on the server that were banned and in the last few months when we kicked them to test perms, they were able to return no problem. They said they’re still in all their servers and this is the only one that’s a problem plus they’re in good standing on disc. Should we contact support? Idk what else we could do tbh

i would look at who was banned since the last time they left and rejoin without issues, only thing i can think of is that someone else was banned that has the same IP so they are stuck because of the ban on that other account (like a friend or sibling, for example i once had someone leave for a break and couldn't rejoin because a friend that was at their house once acted inappropriately and we banned them so we had to unban and reban that friend so they could rejoin in between)

Sounds like a spike in scammer activity really, I guess it depends on how active you are on Discord, cuz am not active and rarely have scammers DM me. But that's my theory. We follow TOS and have AI moderation that deletes and warn people for toxicity and also have good moderation setup.
