Has anyone found a fix or workaround to being unable to do a Forgot password retrieval due to bad Discord certs . It seems this has been a problem since 6+ yrs ago now... Currently there doesn't seem to be a way to log back into discord unless you have a mobile device that can do QR login. There is no way to reset your password if one cannot access any of Discord's forgot password sites due to their bad cert.

Unfortunately no one here can help you with that; it's just a matter of waiting. Idk what technology is used to review but I do believe every request is handled by actual staff in some fashion or another. The responses may sound automatic (like from a bot) but I believe they are pre-written standard responses prepared by Discord staff so they don't have to keep typing out the same things over and over again.

If your account is limited, there is usually a time limit on it I believe. I could be mistaken and it does say until December 16, 2025 so I would wait for a response. Don't go submitting more tickets on it unless they tell you to do so. At least that's what I would do.

I am sure someone will get back to you. And in the meantime, if you did write any type of hateful content, I recommend you avoid doing so in the future. 🙂

The type of server I run is very prone to users pinging random staff members for help, so to combat that all staff id’s are blacklisted from being written. Works great, though we recently got a new staff member and it seems no matter how I format it, it just won’t save and goes back to what it was before. Discord doesn't take "proof" if you don't have your backup codes, you can't get it.

I'd reccomend just creating a new account and saving any important data.

Discords policy is that if you don’t have backup codes they won’t remove your 2fa. Even if you can prove ownership with like appealing for age they can only prove your ownership for that specific case. If you prove your ownership with email you can only get actual support for email related cases.

So I couldn’t see when this person changed their avatar and profile decorations (like nameplates, frames, badges).
A mutual friend told me these changes had happened.

About 2 weeks later, the same changes appeared on my main profile, even though I’m still blocked.

I can’t understand how this is possible.

I saw nothing related under advanced tab; that had stuff like dev mode, etc. However, funnily enough, I went back to the "Windows Settings" menu as screenshotted before and now that entire box about Windows System Helper is gone. No name, no install button, nothing. Just the first 3 items from the screenshot are there, then emptiness. So that may be the trick. Something misconfigured on a fresh Discord install that half-installs the app, and if the user denies it the admin permissions needed to actually install it, you get these bugs.

In other words the badge is hidden/disabled on nitro basic but the streak itself isnt confirmed to be wiped when switching back to nitro the badge should reflect the accumulated nitro time not restart from zero. so the real question isnt visibility its whether discord resets or pauses the evolution progress when using nitro basic,the article doesn’t state that it resets

That depends on the bots you had, if you removed a bot, you won't have that command anymore. This can also happen if the bot removed the command, you'd have to contact their support.

This server isn't for bots, it's for general discord issues.

Also if you aren't the owner, a certain command might be restricted to certain channels.
