On mobile, accepting, tracking, and viewing Quests is currently in beta and limited to specific Quests. It basically means they don't have the quest on mobile and cannot finish it and need to wait.

If its just getting closed without a response, that usually means you already have an open appeal ticket or that your prior appeal has been denied. In either case, there's nothing you can really do. Check your emails for a reply to any prior appeals you may have had.

i know backup codes are required if you lost your 2fa app and if you have neither then you're SOL, but i have a friend who forgot her password and when she does the lost password option it asks for a backup code instead of the 2fa code. she still has her 2fa app but not the backup codes, the fact that she still has her 2fa code it seems to me like there should be a way for her to get back into her account. anybody had this happen to them or someone they know? how should she proceed? is this a scenario where support would help? or is this another SOL situation?

If they have the 2FA then they should use that to get access to the account, then they can regenerate backup codes like normal by going through the process.

If they have access to the email too then forgetting password to change it to something they know is a breeze

She had lost access to the email but after talking with her it made her realize a path she missed and she was able to got back in, but for the discord account when she does the lost password she says it specifically requests a backup code and rejects the 2fa code if she tries. She told me she submitted a support ticket so hopefully it works out.

Email is required for a lot of the security changes, one that specifically requires verification from the email address set.

Guys is there a way to force discord support to actually read and answer my appeals. Since I’ve had a long problem of being locked out because of a false ban, losing months of paid services, discord removing my password without authorization and then telling me that there is no suspicious activity on my account.

Every time I try to ask Discord Support about this they just give me a bot response on how to remove my password and how to remove 2fa

When someone threatens you it's understandable to become defensive and throw back at them, and when it gets extremely heated you could potentially violate the guidelines in the process doing so, which it seems like you did. Sure he shouldn't have threatened you but you should've handled it differently, in which just ignoring the threats, reporting the messages and blocking them, maybe also leaving the server.
