• When people come to my serveur they choose between "Role 1" and "Role 2"
• Then they choose between multiple games. Let's say "Game 1" and "Game 2"
• In my channel I want people that have "Role 1" and "Game 1" to see it, but not if they have "Role 2" and "Game 1".

I succeeded by putting "Role 1" as the main role to see the chanel, but people with "Game 2" still sees it even if I disagree with that in the permissions :c How can I fix it ?
I tried putting Both "Role 1" and "Game 1" as the mains perms and making sure "Role 2" and "Game 2" can't see the chanel, but it does not work, I'm so lost lol.

This is not possible by conventional means. A will always override a , for this to work, you will need to use a bot to assign an extra role when someone has the 2 required roles, which in turn grants the permissions you want it to.

Dude. The support site team members need to stop marking tickets as solved when they haven't actually answered the question being asked, especially when the question doesn't directly touch anything sensitive like account information details for other users.

Trying to ask them if 'communication from the original email address' is sufficient to get the ball rolling on a support ticket - friend has a support account that was gunked up by the hacker in addition to the discord account itself - so the constant spamming of 'support form support form support form' doesn't answer what they do when the original email account owner/user needs to contact them (valid identity) but unable to use the support site because of a blockage of any sort.

Nuanced questions are hard, but getting no real answer while they just repeat the answer, the one which caused the nuanced question in the first place because it was too ambiguous - super frustrating user experience.

as i said the support site is a separate login, so you'd create a new account there with the same email as the one for the Discord account.
if you lost access to the email account, then that's not Discord's problem sadly, you'd have to get back access to it first and then proceed to trying to get the Discord account back.

Nope they moved to in app reporting to cut down on the amount of invalid reports they were getting, due to people sending messages links to things that were already deleted, not actually providing enough information, etc … the way it is now they get all the information they need, as even it gets deleted they still have access to it, and they can get additional context if they need it

LOL. So, get this. The logic on 'getting support service' is busted and not well set up security-wise - the moment you fail to super-secure your support account, you're effectively dead to discord support staff, as far as current logic dictates - giving a hacker a great opportunity to keep stolen accounts if you goof this up.

If someone manages to log into your support account for discord, and adds 2FA to your account... you don't even get an email sent to you warning you that 2FA was added to your compromised support account.  No uno reverse card link in an email, no recovery codes sent to you - they win automatically from that point forward, so long as they never require support (or maybe they can get support from the account they switched the email to after hacking it? - guess its the new original email after all.  >_>)

Worse off, the hacker has the recovery codes and can immediately bypass the 2FA - assuming they don't literally just have the authenticator where-as all you can do as the account owner is 'change the password' to something the hacker doesn't immediately have the ability to change again... but you can't force a log-out necessarily, so they're still in there - if they even need to be at that point.  Once the crowbar is in the door, they win and can do all new business from their own email address they relinked things to.

AND THEN in addition to that, IN ORDER TO GET SUPPORT from that point forward, such as for having a compromised account - SUPPORT REQUIRES THAT YOU USE THE SUPPORT ACCOUNT... WHICH WAS COMPROMISED and CANNOT BE ACCESSED.

I guess what I'm saying here is... if you have the ability to have a safely cloud secured authenticator, you might want to secure the hell out of your discord support account in order to make sure nobody else gets in there to install 2FA before you, because support will stonewall you outright at ths time unless you own that support account and controlling it 100% in order to contact them from it - regardless of you being the email holder or any other identity proving logic you attempt to provide.```

Friend of mine got hacked and is currently wrestling with this titan of tangled security reasoning.  Every time I tried to ask if a user could simply email them from the valid email address in order to establish identity verification with the support team, they specifically didn't answer the question and instead set the ticket to 'solved' which leaves the matter ambiguous.

Wish I had better news for folks, but be warned - support requires you to thread the needle in the time of being victimized by a hacker.

Just so everyone knows, even if you email support or abuse or any of the old email addresses, they throw all those emails and tickets generated on the back end into the oubliette (forget hole).

If you lose access to your support portal account because somebody ties it up with 2FA added, even if you change your password somehow, you still can't get in to send a ticket and they still have ownership of your discord account which they likely stole too while you have zero means of getting support.

You will be able to play the MP4. Your other friends likely have an apple device, whereas you use samsung. MOV is proprietary to apple. This could be the reason you cannot see it.
