If you buy a boost (or get the 2 free with Nitro), you have those boosts available as long as you pay for them. You can use them on any server you want but they only work for one thing. So if you want a custom tag, you can use them for that. If you want them for level 1 or 2 or 3, you can use them for that. But each boost only works for one point towards an item you wish to use.

The driver board in the monitor is usually the issue when it comes to monitors expressing their love for the old Netflix startup screen (Probably a failed capacitor as usual) - GPUs on the other hand dying can do that but depends if it's sag damage, improper transport or someone playing dodge the computer thrown off the deck - Cables... specifically HDMI and DP don't really have that issue

What kind of support ticket did you open? This sounds something that should have been resolved during compromised account clean-up. Can you attach to the original case resolving the hacked account resolution and maybe get them to look at it closer since it seems they didn't clean up the signs of being hacked?

Obviously a bad actor on the account would generate a lot of negative reports on your account.

This sort of stuff should have been resolved as a +1 to any financial fraud and bad conduct while compromised I figure.

The email wasn’t changed. As I said above, what happened was that my mother ended up trying to download a cracked program on her laptop, and my Discord account was logged in there. The hacker got remote access and tried to demand 20K USD. When I refused to pay, he sent NSFW images to several of my friends. The last thing I managed to do was log into the account and change the username (which he had altered) and change the password as well, but the account was suspended shortly after.

Trying to get a point of contact for discord support, which a person can use if their support account has also been compromised. Anyone have something 'recent' for contacting support without the damned support form/support account?

I tried to put in a support ticket in order to ask support to reach out to the user at the email address originally tied to the account after explaining the obstructions in the way of the normal process.

Support comes back and says 'use the support form' (which requires the user have access to the support account from the original email.... which I already identify in a ticket is compromised). The user isn't the most tech savvy, but best guess is the person somehow jammed an authenticator on it to jam up the support account, since that's a critical fail point in the support process at this point (though there's a non-zero chance the user accidentially added the 2FA in the past and forgot about it, which I can't get clear sight on since they'd have forgotten about it - regardless, its now in the way of the support process regardless of them still having access to their email account just fine.)

And then support tells me they can't give me information about the account - I never asked for anything about the account. I asked them for a point of contact from support which I can provide to the affected user.

Guess we'll see if they finally acknowledge the problem or if they just repeat 'UsE tHe SuPpOrT fOrM' without actually addressing the fact their support flowchart is failing to handle a problem which is presenting itself.

► Very frustrating and this deserves to be understood by folks who may be similarly afflicted so they can go tighten up access and ownership of their support accounts, so they don't end up screwed like my friend is by the rigid support flow.

Make sure you have full possession and security on your support accounts.

The only support account they'll take a ticket from, the one tied to the original email, is obstructed by 2FA introduced probably after the account was compromised. And the user in question received no emails about any of these status changes.

Thus, they can't open a ticket to support whch support will communicate with - which means that the ticket cannot be sent correctly in this case.

The emails, the ones that we take for granted which get autogenerated for when email address or other identifying information being changed - they were not received by user.

Simply put, the bad faith/cold response to this matter, when a wealth of easy checks are available to glean suspicious account behavior are readily available to support and they could easily email the original email address with a 'you okay bruh? if so ignore this' would readily make a lot of momentum toward fixing this problem and helping address all of the points of failure occurring.

The amount of time spent 'not handling this' will end up being more than handling it, and they'll take a customer satisfaction hit in the process of trying to be hands off.

It's crappy support. There's plenty of way for an experienced support agent to handle something like this without introducing liability problems for the company.

Do your users have the “use external apps” permission? If yes then it was perhaps a user app, it’s one way to spam messages, but those still go through your automod so you could remove that permission or adjust your automod to be better at blocking them
