As long as no one removes their boost, the server will remain at Level 2 with 7 boosts. If someone decides to move their boost from your server to a different server, you will lose level 2

A boost is a subscription. As long as you don't cancel your boost subscription, the server will remain at Level 2. Boosting is not a one-time purchase kind of thing

So whatever amount you are paying rn for 7 boosts, you need to keep paying that every month

As in, if you gave no roles permissions, they won't do anything. But if you have given the permission to change roles to each role, people from a higher role can move people from lower roles around, so long as it doesn't involve their own role.
But it would pretty much just be cosmetic at that point.

Ah, you can't really make it so people can give roles otherwise.

There should be another way to set it up though, without people directly giving other people roles.

You could have a system where they can suggest members instead, but otherwise it has to be done by you or someone you trust with manage members.
Or something with a bot.

The way you can have a ladder system with manage roles is if you put all 6 roles at the bottom of the list, in order.

Each role will be able to grant, but also be able to edit or delete roles below their highest role, which would mean that you can't give them any roles besides the ones on the ladder, because they'll be able to grant, edit or delete all of the ones below their highest.

You can't check within the client. But you should get the push notification on windows telling you. If you have your pc on "Priority only" or "Alarm only" modes, you can still click the icon at the bottom right to check.

If you want to get push notifications (might be annoying) on windows you can click the option with the moon to toggle.

I strongly recommend you do not permit anyone but staff to manage or edit roles. Create reaction roles with a bot if you want people to be able to add their own. But if you have a hierarchy with all members being able to change others you will have chaos.

hi, it s been almost 4 weeks since my friend got his account hacked then disabled, he still has the ownership of the servers we own together (we manage big game servers from another country) the hacker gave himself administrator roles and we are basically hopeless
We opened each a ticket and from few hours to a day they get solved out of nowhere, we reopen them, or he makes a new one but there is still no reply, it gets solved with no reply, is there any way we could contact a discord support, we also tried contacting thru twitter, no reply.

I've been warned over age-inappropriate content to do with my profile, problem is this issue allegedly occurred on the day I created my account which was 23rd of September 2017. I've tried appealing it and like it says in the image i broke Discord's TOS which is incorrect. Secondly I've been warned twice over the exact same incident as you can see in the image and Discord support is absolutely useless, even their trust and safety team are useless, I just get that stupid Clyde bot because the Discord trust and safety and support teams are too lazy to even help. I personally believe I'm being targeted by someone because I've always made sure that I stick to Discord's TOS

So l had a discord account for over years, 4 years ago and i created 2FA on account (authy) and i lost my 0ld phone with Authy on it.

4 days ago Discord blocked my account because of "suspicious activity" and they send me a email with password reset. I can't change the password because I need 2FA to which i don't have any Access.

I proved to Discord Support that account is mine,I showed them all payments, my phone number, four last digits of Visa card even reference number. And The only thing they say is "we can't do anything about it but you can delete your account"

We once had someone trying to copy our server, the name and icon were different but the internal layout and channel content for welcome/rules and several others were straight up copied, including claiming to be a partnered server with the icons that didn’t work lol!
It died off quickly as the owner didn’t actually take care of it or knew what they were doing, probably just assumed that with the same layout they only had to pull members to it and it would work, yea no it’s a lot more work than that.

we solved this problem by the way

made a server template and copied the server, changed every channel one by one. found the problem was the phrase ss (we were using it as an abreviation for "screenshare"). we had our vcs named "cam/ss" for MONTHS for the record, just on a random tuesday in october they decided to mark it as inappropriate.

-# ‼️ For future reference, when it complains about bad channel names, it'll tell you what channel name is if it is a text channel it's complaining about. When it's a voice channel, it won't tell you what it is. You'll have to go through each individual voice channel and change the name to see what is triggering their filter.
