My understanding is that if you added your rules channel to the "server guide", it will no longer be a part of your channels list. You will only find it by going to server guide -> your rules channel

From what I remember when I started my community server this summer, you just need 5(?) channels that are open to everyone. So if you have some channels that you want to restrict access to, just make some other ones to meet that minimum requirement. Some of the ones I have are rules, directory, and general chat

So I have been having this weird thing with my new PC. Same Ethernet connection, better GPU, CPU, etc. but for some reason, any time I stream on Discord, Discord disconnects anywhere from a couple seconds to a couple mins after starting the stream. hey so im having issues with discord, it works fine, but the moment i start up a game it flickers like it minimizes itself and then maximizes again but i cant utilize it anymore? and if i click anywhere it clicks on whatever is 'behind' discord, like google or whatever else, and im forced to close and reopen discord

I am no expert on this but I wonder if you might try a few things.

1. Clear your discord cache.
2. Clear your browsing cache and don't open anything but Discord and your game.
3. Consider putting to sleep any apps on your PC that might be slowing it down.

It seems to me from what some others have said here that it may be a memory issue? If none of those things work, I am quite sure Sith or Kivvy or Nick or Shed or someone will be by who can provide better information.

There isn't a way to force show all channels on, unfortunately. All you can really do is add it to onboarding's default channel and make a button to subscribe to all of those channels, then notify existing members to click that button.

A long time ago, Discord disabled my account and sent me an email saying, We're sending you this message because we've detected suspicious activity on your Discord account and we believe your account may be at risk. This can happen if your Discord password is the same one you use on another website and that website was hacked, or if you accidentally gave your access token to someone else. I panicked and changed my password, but it happened again 15 minutes later. I changed my email address and it didn't happen again, but I'm still wondering if someone really wanted to hack me or if it was a way for Discord to prevent spam because just before that, I was getting a lot of captchas due to the rate-limit because I was repeatedly sending friend requests. So I really want to know if someone can explain and confirm what it could be because I was literally left paranoid after that.

I was banned from Discord last month because of that age scam. I did the verification correctly and was unbanned. However, when I returned to my account, it became unusable because NOTHING loads—my profile, other people’s profiles, private chats, and servers. I spent more than 14 consecutive days exchanging tickets with Discord's official support. They had me download 90 different things and it didn’t solve anything. In the end, they sent me an email saying they would contact the technical support team, and that was more than 14 days ago. They NEVER responded again, didn’t say anything, didn’t reply to me at all. I can log into the account normally, but I can’t use it. The only “clue I have” is that when I try to enter chats, an error appears in the console, something like Error 401 Unauthorized. However, I can join voice channels and talk normally—only voice channels work. I want to know if there’s a way to fix this. I already contacted support and spent 15 consecutive days communicating with them, then they disappeared and never said anything again!

I think they forgot to unban me on the back-end or something similar with Discord's internal flags. However, they haven't replied to me for more than 15 days since they said they would try to find a solution.

- Your data package will contain your messages only, not that of any other party. You don't get a copy of your deleted messages, as they are also removed from Discord's servers. The only time you might get some in your package is if they were recently deleted prior to requesting your package, as it takes a while to process.

Since you can request your own data, going through a lawyer/legal process is pointless as it does not unlock access to any other information. That package is it.

• We manually checked every channel name in the server.
