users that already joined my server cannot see channales that i add after they have joined, the only way for them to see those is if they enable "show all channels" for the server which they probubly dont even know exists

That's unfortunately how onboarding has worked since it was introduced. Plan out what categories you need, set them as default in onboarding, then add channels to those existing categories so people actually see them

Though even that's not 100% if people start customizing their channels themselves

Is there a way I can make it so my account can’t message anybody, but it exists and I can log in to view past chats sometimes?

For context, I have been getting hacked every month, and they send Steam messages through my account. I do have 2FA enabled, and I also change my password from time to time to ensure my token changes. I also don’t get notifications that my Discord account was logged in from another location, and my PC is malware-free, so I’m not really sure how to deal with this.

As for your question, the only real solution would be unfriending everyone and leaving all groups and servers.

However, if your account keeps getting compromised, there's definitely something more to it that needs investigating. It's probably a rat of some sort that's not detected by your anti virus.

Hey guys I manage a 25K+ community where I'm looking to setup some private channels for a smaller cohort of members. I will be inviting new members (who are not on my community already) to this channel, ideally I'd like the private link to lead the new members to my server and have the private channels visible. But that's not possible until I have assigned them a specific role. However I do not know how to assign them that specific role, since there is not bot or inbuilt discord mechanism that lets me track how they've come to my community?
