Is that even possible to boost a server while not being inside of it?

So, for the everyone/verified role all settings are same except you just turn off the settings that allow embed perms. You have to manually add the role (leveled one which grants the perms) and give the it same perms as others + the embed ones. That's it.

this is a known discord issue, one of my friends got it too. we eventually after back and forth of discord emails trying to convince them he has no accounts came into conlusion that discord is using other factors to judge alts account other then ip, such as

• you had admin in a server, which prev someone else had admin in too and got banned fromdc, thus thinking you are alts
• one of the servers you have been in was termed and you are joining it again and having roles in it
• etc

in general, you would likely not found a acc thats been banned, this is a recent issue. discord is now using more ways to catch alts who are potentitally using ways to bypass ip (tor/vpn)

What do you mean « no longer retrievable » ? By discord or by yourself ? I remember vaguely having the same situation a while ago. The thing is, if I remember correctly, when you create a discord account with your phone it will be tied to your phone number. Later if you decide to use it ok desktop and you provide your email, the phone number login will be treated separately from the email login for some weird stupid reason.

okay erm this is more of a HEAVY suggestion, but servers should have a thing where it sends a message to the user if they got kicked, banned or the server got deleted. My very very close friend was just completely pushed to the brink bc he believed that our group was abandoning him and banned him from our server when that simply wasnt the case. The owner had just deleted it on a whim and it sent someone into a total spiral. Now, I know its JUST discord, but for some people this app/website is a coping mechanism for all they struggle with in their lives. An escape from their reality to feel something different. As far as I know there isn't any in-built feature here that does that. However, certain bots definitely have that feature. Those bots DM the user if they have been kicked/banned/muted, not if the server has been deleted though. But yeah, if Discord added that then we wouldn't have to rely on bots so it'd be nice.
