Hmm, after further research actually I believe it is allowed. If you aren't comfortable sharing your ID with them, that's fine, but you don't necessarily have a right to be in that server. At the same time they can't force you to show it, but they can refuse you "entry" to the server but... there's nothing wrong going on.

The only vaguely problematic thing, is HOW they store this very sensitive information. We don't know anything about that though (and can only assume it's probably not very safe lol).

If it’s really been pending that long, you should message Discord support again — give them the ticket ID or any proof of that email change.
Sounds like something got stuck on their side, they can manually clear it up for you.

Ok @plucky umbra so the purpose of that bot is to detect alt accounts. It does not matter whether you have 2 accounts yourself or someone else in your home has an account along with you. When a server uses DC bot AND they have it set to "global detection", the bot will automatically detect whichever account verified with it first. Do you understand me so far?

So what happens with DC bot is once an account has been verified, you can ask for data deletion but there is no way it can be removed from the database. That means whatever account was verified is the only account that can be verified on DC bot. There is no getting around that. You cannot switch accounts.

Your only option is to contact staff on that server and ask them to "manually verify" your account. Many are good abt doing that but you have to ask them.

I think the issue here is not with an alt but there's another account sharing their IP is banned. The only way to fix it is if the server clears their ban list. The "verify" they are referring to is probably with the website to make sure that they have an account

In the last few months, I keep having an issue with Discord (on Windows 11), where turning the mouse scroll wheel only scrolls PART of the window or panel I'm hovering over. Like, in the main Chat panel, only about the bottom 1/4 will scroll, the rest remains fixed in place. If I wait a minute, and try again, it usually sorts itself out, but it shouldn't be happening in the first place. Does this happen to anyone else?
