Yes I understood that. And with the grace of god I am saved. He actually hacked. At first even tho I was having doubt I changed my email to the one he sent so I did that and I was having doubt so I changed password as well. But I was saved we were chatting and the time passed. For changing email they send confirmation link right so that link expired and he asked me to do it again my doubt became more stronger and I asked why. In that he was like "the process expired" now I am also a developer and previously my account was hacked which discord reverted back. So I remembered that discord staff doesn't talk in DMs and if they want to change they can directly change from the database and no expiry stops them

You now once I contacted support for this one reason cause one time it happened to me in a server a moderated in, they told me the following, unsure if it'll help you. Basically what we tried was banning the user to then unban and see if that works otherwise clear the entire ban list but that comes with its own problems and might not even work. The IP ban could also be stored in one of the bots you use to ban users with but since we don't know the IP that would also be hard.

Anyway this is what support said:

There are three possible explanations for a link not working:

• The link itself has expired
• The IP address is banned on the server
  OR
• The user is already a member of 100 servers

If you can contact your server admins, ask them if they can remove the bans in their "Server Settings" > "Bans", even if the Discord tag is not listed. (This can happen, after all, for many different reasons).

Heya, I have a general discord question, which I'm not completely sure if there is a fix, but I might have a workaround for it.

I'm in a big server (40k+ members) and we have a role that gets pinged 4 times a day, going out to 16k people.
And people are complaining they are not getting pinged on their mobile.
Looking around on reddit/forums, this seems like a pretty common issue.

Would splitting up the big role into smaller roles, and ping those smaller roles work better? Or is it the size of the role that's causing the issue, but just the amount of pings? (as splitting the role up, would not change the amount of pings going out).

The best soluton would be that the issue is fixed with the 1 role. But if a workaround, like splitting up the roles, and just ping several roles, works. We are willing to put in some effort to make that work until it's fixed.

This all started on 19th August with a new account, it got limited a few minutes after I made it. Fine and good. A few days later I was using my main, old account, and it randomly got limited.
Now, the new account was meant to have its limit end on 26th August. On 26th, few hours before the limit was to go, the limit got extended to 28th August

Then it cleared only to return suddenly again on 2nd September 💀

As for my old account(the main), the limit was to clear on 31st August. It did, only to return on 1st September
