There is no grace period for Nitro, when it ends the badge resets. People are confusing delays in the time it takes Discord to process this as some kind of feature that let's you keep it if you resubscribe within x days.

Even though I proved to Discord support that I’m the real owner through private information, they said they can’t transfer the account to a different email. Is there any way to solve this?

It was a very old Discord account, really important to me. Unfortunately, I haven’t been able to recover that email. Microsoft suspended it because they detected it was hacked, but they didn’t give me access back.
