I’ve only ever come across two scams on Discord. The more notable of the two was a server that stole a vanity URL then set up a verify bot that was impersonating another bot (I don’t know the name but the profile picture was similar) and it asked for thr two most dangerous permissions bots can request, join servers for you and access your email address. I left the server pretty quickly after that.

The count of visitors, inactives, communicators, etc don't add up to my membership number- it's not particularly close. For reference:

After that loaded and istalled Discord again, after this all it did updated well and there where no update error. It seem that AppData discord folder is the reason why it makes the loop, there might got some clitch/error somewhere in those files.

Some times you need to delete all files that are connecterd to Discord and load it again, that resets all errors, AppData discird files are some reason making some times those errors. In my case it was unable to lead updates, before I unistall disocrd and did delte all files including AppData section

Opening discord doesn't matter. You needed to have physically changed your username to remove the numbers. If Discord forced the change when all legacy usernames were removed, you don't get the badge.

I was trying to set up yubikey and it worked so I stupidly removed 2FA authentication app and had the yubikey working as my security key. I logged out of my account after that (after trying multiple times) and now it says "Please reset password to login" when I try to login with correct password.

So I click reset password and it doesnt let me change password cause 2FA. Yubikey not working and backup codes most likely reset when I removed authentication app.
